Congrats on 30!
@Cheekyskeeter,
Did you stay on your diet in Jamaica? I am going out of town next month for 10 days (Israel) and I am not sure how much to stay on - if I can still lose weight but try some foods there. Thoughts?
Also, how much WF can we have a day? For example, if we did something like Miracle Noodles and the Alfredo Sauce - should we just use 2 TBS? I have been putting about 3 TBS on my Big Mac Salad because I like it coated. Is that bad?
Thanks!

I had already hit my goal and was in maintenance before I left for Jamaica. I still did my best to try and follow the food plan that I was eating in maintenance. I still eat P3 breakfast, 4 cups of veggies and my protein each day but also I've added in some other foods that weren't allowed before (some rice and pasta). It was harder finding veggies that I could eat there and I will admit I ate dessert quite a bit (there was SO much of it). I did eat better then I have in past years and did my best to eat the 'bad stuff' in moderation. I only had 2 glasses of wine while away (their wine isn't the greatest anyhow) but I did have some of their frozen fruity drinks but still not near what I would have had before IP.

I know others have said they limit their WF and other extras to between 4 and 6 servings a day. I didn't use a lot of them near the end....my tastes changed (I used to love Big Mac in a Bowl but the last month or more I couldn't eat it any more).

I'm down 15 LBS today, at my 3 week mark. I'm finding it gets easier each day, minus still cooking for my boyfriend who, when I met him thought fast food all day everyday was how to eat. I do seem to have an issue eating 8 oz of meat, I never really feel too well after dinner, but it's working so I'll keep pushing!

Try splitting up your meat to 4 oz at lunch or even 6 and then throw a little protein in at dinner for filler and taste. It helps me. Congrats on the 15.

It's just for when you're constipated. So if you are having those issues, it should help clean you out, which will make the scale go down a bit. Other than that, if you don't need it, don't use it.

Yes, under mushrooms on the list of select veggies. I eat them all the time!

All the great weigh ins and mini goal hitting is awesome!

I spent the last 3 days in Seattle with an old high school friend and we had a blast shopping (in the same size stores no less, something we haven't done since high school!) and we had some wonderful meals (I stayed 100% OP!!!) and when I weighed this morning I was even down a pound from my Monday weight in before I left.

I've got just under 4 weeks till my brother's wedding. I've got my fingers crossed I can drop another 8 lbs before then...just a little mini-goal I set for myself. But I won't beat myself up if I can't hit it.

I see this a lot... What is smooth move tea? And where do I get this?

Smooth move is a stimulant laxative. I DO NOT recommend abusing it (or any laxatives) by using it before WIs. Trying to trick the scale in that manner will backfire eventually.
OTOH: use if you are truly constipated

I eat miso soup. And if you like sashimi, that is fine...just no rice, no fried food, no sauces. I got teriyaki chicken and asked for it without the sauce (it's just grilled chicken). I love Japanese, and after one foray into the restaurant, I have avoided it because everything I really like is totally off limits. You can order salad though, if you bring your own dressing. The Japanese style dressings have lots of sugar.
