Now that I'm skinnier...

- I take the time to fix my clothes so I look good instead of just throwing on "something clean" from the closet!
- I had to punch new holes in my summer sandals so they would stay on my feet and my feet look better than I remember them!
- I take more time thinking about me instead of putting "me" aside for everyone else... you know, for my overall health!

I feel strongly about putting myself first...in more areas than just nutrition.
I cannot believe who I see in the mirror
I feel sad that I let so many years go by before realizing that I am worth it
I enjoy shopping
I enjoy socializing
I love myself

...I said yesterday "These jeans are way to big". I've never said that before in my entire life....ever.

They were uncomfortable because they kept falling down and I had to fold the waste over to keep them up. I bought them a month and a half ago and they fit then....but not anymore!!!

So glad someone bumped this thread as I hadn't seen it before and I LOVE it!!! SO motivating to see what is in store for me as I shed the weight, and I get excited and encouraged when I see someone whose stats are (were) similar to mine at one time, and now have made goal!

And GREAT idea to keep this thread in favorites! Now I have to figure out how to do that

Although I have a very long journey ahead of me I can already see such a difference.
The AC is set 4 degrees higher and the windows are open before October.
The car seat belt already tends to stay where it belongs rather than sliding up because my belly is bigger than my boobs.
I can walk around in BJ's and other stores for a few hours and not feel crippled the next morning when I stand up.
I can wear a bunch of shoes either because they fit again or because I am not limited to my walking shoes.

This is great! I took the idea, and made a thread for what I am looking forward to once I am thinner

I had more than 1 inch left when I buckled my airline seat belt. My belly didn't overhang the tray table and I had extra room in the seat.

Hi girls! Ive now lost 80 pounds since mid January!!! Wooo whoooo! And now that I'm thinner I can finally put the tray down in the airplane seat in front of me and set my computer there and read !!! and I no longer hang over "sort of" into the seat next to me, AND the seat belt not only buckles but there's inches left to spare!!! What to do with the leftover seat belt! So glad to be having that problem!

My necklaces all hang too low, and I have to buy new ones.

And, I actually can see that I have my FATHER'S feet !!!!

I get a kick out of sitting with my legs crossed every chance I get.

Sometimes, when I'm seated and look down, I can't believe those are MY thighs.

I can feel the buttons on the back of my chair now.

My car seat belt fits better now, too!

I am more apt to get down on the floor whether it be to help my son with a school project the other night or to succumb to my dogs' urging to play. I can't believe how much easier I can move now.

I can't wait to get dressed for the day and think about what I am going to wear days ahead.

I actually caught a glimpse of my clavicles the other day. It was like running into a friend I haven't seen since high school.

Now that I'm thinner...I don't rip the tags out of my clothes to hide the size.

Now that I'm thinner...I like to catch my reflection in a store window

Now that I'm thinner... I LIKE ME BETTER!!!

Yay for that! I can't wait to see how I fit in an airplane seat once I fly again! Also in the auditorium seats at my daughter's high school plays! My hips were my widest part.

Now that I'm thinner...

I'm cold all the time too...I notice it more when I am losing. I have green tea to keep me warm

I don't suffocate bending over to pick up dog poop or to clean.

Many people asked if I got shorter lol I hope not! I just take up less room

My face changed drastically, I lost the "baby fat". My half sister and I used to look very very similar and now not at all.

It is sad that people treat smaller people differently. I noticed that as well. I have doors held for me, get chatted up in elevators etc but I am still the same person. I think it may also have to do with exuding more confidence, maybe our thinner selves are making eye contact more and inviting conversation through body language?
