Use the time you're on Phase 1 to really figure out what your triggers are. And understand that maintenance is when you REALLY need to be aware of everything you put in your mouth - it will take a while for you to find the right balance of food and amount of calories that will keep you where you want to be, the beginning of maintenance is very much trial and error. So keeping track of everything just makes it that much easier to course correct along the way.
The biggest pointer I can give is to NOT be afraid of maintenance! Remember that no matter what, you ALWAYS have Phase 1 if things go a little crazy. You are going into long-term weight management with a really strong tool to stay in control!
