Thanks for all the input on the quest bars. I would bloat terribly after. Bar and remain so for hours. I have not had one since early monday. Feels like my stomach is still adjusting. Who knew? Oh well they were good while they lasted.

hahaha I made kale chips too and hated them! Such a gross taste!!! But I have heard there are a couple types of Kale. Last night I also made Rutabaga fries and they were gross (I don't like turnip/rutabaga normally anyway but I am forcing myself to eat it because I only have 4-5 veggies I like to choose from) I am currently looking for Jicama. My coach told me that its a mix between a pear/apple with the texture of a turnip ?? Sounds interesting.

Why must my drive from dance class to home be riddled with delicious smelling Chinese restaurants?

Think about what is really in it & how gross it really is.
Make a healthier version at home!

Use the time you're on Phase 1 to really figure out what your triggers are. And understand that maintenance is when you REALLY need to be aware of everything you put in your mouth - it will take a while for you to find the right balance of food and amount of calories that will keep you where you want to be, the beginning of maintenance is very much trial and error. So keeping track of everything just makes it that much easier to course correct along the way.

The biggest pointer I can give is to NOT be afraid of maintenance! Remember that no matter what, you ALWAYS have Phase 1 if things go a little crazy. You are going into long-term weight management with a really strong tool to stay in control!

My experience with Quest bars is no bloating or gas...I really like them!

I have started having a Costco Premium Choc Drink as I phase from IP to alternative, unfortunately, I don't like them as much as I LOVE the IP Choc drink powders. They have a "fake" after taste for me. I am still drinking them but they don't do it for me in flavor or keeping me feeling as full as the IP mix.

I wish it wasn't so......the price is great!

You might want to try EAS AdvantEdge carb control drinks, chocolate fudge flavor is great. Closest thing to ip drinks nutrition wise that I've found. Sold at Walmart and Sam's club, haven't looked for them in other stores.

Fairhaven: You mean the IP clinic, right? Yup, pretty frosty in there. I have been going there 6mths and only now do I feel welcome. I have finally bonded with my coach and I am getting close so I want to see it through the end. I still use IP restricts mostly. I do proti-diet for most of my Nons.

Faunce Corner Nutrition is awesome. We need to have a local gtg there and have a toast with a protein drink!!!
