TooManyMaggies, I used to drink atkins shakes every morning and easily switched to premier Protein choc shakes. I buy at Costco and they are delicious. 30 grams of protein so it really holds me over til lunch.

Ooh, fantazmo!!! Take my money!! Heading to Costco!

At this point I'd toss the ketostix. You know you're in ketosis and as long as you stay on plan it'll stay that way. The more water you drink, the longer you're in ketosis (your body gets better at processing ketones), and other things will change what shows up on the sticks.

The White Cheddar Ridges are restricted so as long as you didn't have another restricted yesterday you're still OP. Most coaches tell people to have an additional packet in the early stages if they're really hungery or if you have too much exercise.

11 oz so a bit more than IP. 30 g protein, 160 calories, 5 carbs.

I don't have a buddy to do this with and my family eats healthly, but kids will be kids and snack. I am also doing it on my own, no coach or clinic.
Is anyone else going solo? Would love to have someone to compare notes with!
I started "Solo" 4.5 weeks ago...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IP...down 23 lbs already!

I have now lost 20 pounds! So happy! If my honey wasn't asleep this morning I would have been jumping through the hallways yelling! lol

Tried to make my own signature to celebrate... hope it works.

Hi everyone. I had my second weigh in today and lost 3.8 lbs! That makes 7.8 in 2 weeks! I am so excited because my personal goal is to lose on average 3lbs a week for the the first 17 weeks, and I'm doing better than that for now!

The Quest bars use some sugar alcohols for sweetening, and those can definitely cause digestive issues. You may be a bit more sensitive than others to them. Maybe try a few days avoiding the sugar alcohols, then add them back for a day and see what happens?

You might be talking about a different place - Faunce Corner Nutrition only has one location, just over the bridge near the VF Outlets in Dartmouth. They sell bodybuilding supplements but also a whole bunch of products that are compatible with IP phase 1

Ignore the ketostix. If you are drinking enough water, ketones will barely register on them, even if it's your first bathroom trip of the morning. None of the IP packets has enough carbs in it to bump you out.

Good Evening everyone.
Happy B-day Spiritman!! FaithgogsMa there is a clinic in West Wareham on cranberry hwy over the Dunkin Donuts the wellness clinic. The people there are real nice if you decide you need a coach. I'll have to check out the Faunce Corner Nutrition I haven't been there yet. Hope everyone had a op day

FaithgogsMA Have you been to Faunce Corner Nutrition?? There's a lot of fans here!!

WI today. Lost 4lbs. However, I think some of it is this stomach bug that seems to be lingering. Still feel BLAH but have to go to work. Unless they cancel me.
There was a big meeting at the clinic today, a training session. I wonder if they are opening up another clinic?? I talked about training a bit with my coach but we didn't get in depth. I felt like crap and wanted to go home. Making a nice veggie soup to bring to work.
Congrats on the 4 pounds!!! I've been to Faunce Corner Nutrition! The proti-diet maple brown sugar oatmeal is so good. I like it better than the IP oatmeal and it has less carbs!! I also like their bacon and cheese omelet. I try to stick with IP products but my boyfriend uses all proti-diet and balanced protein from Faunce Corner so I eat his...and it's a lot cheaper! $ 11.95 for 7 versus $28.00 for 7 packets. I should go to alternatives! :chicken

Nice slider...feels good to be down 20 huh? Me too, 22 now...hot day today in Northern Ontario, came home to dig out my summer clothes..finally...and they all fit!!! I went over the 200 mark (swore I'd never go there again) last summer so my shorts, skirts and dresses were all snug and I barely wore them. Today, white shorts, zzzzip, yes!
Happy Birthday Spiritman, Donna good for you! And to all the beginners, welcome to our not so little corner of the world.
