It's not restricted! I love crispy cereal pancakes!! I think they taste better than the regular IP pancakes, and are a definite bonus for not being restricted! I usually have them at least twice a week.

Amberjules:

Congratulations on Onderland!!!!

I think it is funny that your coach removed you from her facebook page because you are so successful without her: If she understood the science behind the diet she should have known you'd be successful without her and 90% alternative products. I guess she didn't believe you could stick to it without meeting with her on a regular basis? She didn't give you enough credit for your determination!

Is she silly enough to think that by removing you from her facebook page she can keep the idea of rogue IP weightloss underwraps??

Again: Welcome to Onderland and BRAVO!!!

Week 3 weigh in was not great but I'll keep moving forward. No lbs down but another inch lost. I had a day with two restricted and a day with a fourth protein pack.

I have no idea why, but today I am really struggling. All I can think about is food. My 10 week weigh in is tomorrow night. That and reading the boards will get me through. Thanks all!

I'm looking for a good recipe to make IP friendly spaghetti sauce.

Quest bars are to replace an IP protein pack right?

Has anyone tried the WF ranch? I actually found it at Walmart today for only $3.24! And the peanut butter! I'm leery to try either but more likely to try it now that its cheaper!

I still have this problem a lot! I have to split up my meals and have like four meals a day in order to fit everything in! Try hiding veggies in places and its easier, veggie purées in soups are good, spinach in shakes are good, etc.

Welcome! This forum has been so helpful to me. Even if I don't post it's really nice to just read and feel supported!

[QUOTE=ZOMBIEDAWN;4715603] Yikes, I don't want to lose muscle and gain fat... seems counterintuitive doesn't it? I'll throw caution to the wind and do it.... thanks for the heads up. I think I'll just do this ride and see if there's any change on the body comp. I do miss my bike rides and I don't want to miss this years weather.

If you are losing muscle, you are not eating enough protein. On tough workout days, I eat an extra 4oz of protein sometimes (half a breast of chicken or steak) before my workout on top of my 4th pack. I always make sure I never go over the 40g of carbs no matter what. Extra protein will not take you out of ketosis.

Way to go AmberJules. You rock! You are such an inspiration with your words of wisdom. Love reading you skinny chick letters.

To start with, I am no where close to being ready for Phase 2 and beyond, but there are many many who are in these phases and maintaining who will likely speak up.

For me though, I researched this program before starting and the two weeks of Phase 2 and 3 along with a Phase 4 was the selling point for me. The reassurance that my body would be given the time to re adjust to a more normal eating pattern and the pancreas slowly brought back up to speed. From my point of view I am more than happy to give my body a bit more time to transition because as I understand it, it will mean an easier time on maintenance.

From my time on the boards the only people I have seen rush through Phase 2/3 were only phasing off to go on vacations and then they returned fully to Phase 1 when they returned home.
