The safest way to have salsa is to make it yourself! Very simple - chopped tomato, chopped onion, diced jalapeno, a little lemon juice, dash of salt and fresh chopped cilantro! Just remember to measure your veggies so you know how to calculate your daily 4 cups, and that tomato is a restricted veggie.
I made an amazing salsa with a red pepper, cucumber, green onion, a jalapeņo and fresh cilantro. Just chop all if the ingridients finely and mix with a bit if lime juice. Great taste and then you don't have to use tomato.
