unrestricted are 8 net carbs or less
calories from fat (multiply by 3 and if it is under the total calories of the serving, then you are fine)
Protein should be 12g or higher-aim for 15+, especially with bars, cookies, etc.
Stay away from aspartame and hydrogenated oils. The rest is up to you (what ingredients you will accept). Others will have different opinions, these are the 2 ingredients I seek to avoid. I also limit sugar alcohols as they do not agree with my system. 1 restricted bar a day with sugar alcohols is fine for me, anything more would not be good.
