Well, here I go again. I'm seeing my new coach tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to start IP Phase One for the second time. First time was May 2012.
I reached my goal on November 2012 but I stopped IP just before Christmas 2012---a stressful time of year and this Chiristmas was the one year anniversary of my father's passing. I was conscious of what I ate-but still couldn't control the binging. I was pushing down my feelings with food.
. Fortunately, I did not gain all the weight back..just 12 pounds.
I stopped IP because of how expensive it is. I tried alternate products but living in Canada, I couldn't get a connection on Proti-diet foods and shipping and duty made it expensive. Last attempt at low-carb protocol was Atkins---but it allowed too many trigger foods for me, dairy and avocado, higher carb vegetables, cream, sour cream. My co-worker lost 14 pounds in the induction phase...I continued to gain!!!
I am afraid that IP won't work this time because I weigh less than the last time I started, and I've still been eating low carbs. I haven't been in ketosis for months and months according to the ketostix. I think I hit a plateau just before Christmas and I just can't get back on track...Any tips from anyone who has started over?
