  • Has anyone taken CLA or L-Carnitine while doing phase 1?

    I have a supplement called Thermo CLA from GNC that I used to REALLY like and I was wondering if we can take it on Phase 1.

    It does have some caffeine in it...approx 100 MG per pill.

    Any body know anything about it or has taken any type of supplements other then the suggested vitamins ???

  • I'm taking Acetyl L-Carnitine and found out the original one I was taking used rice powder as a filler so was actually bumping up my daily carb intake. I did find a different brand without rice so continue taking it.

    you can get it pretty inexpensively from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe etc...

    How much did they want you to take?
  • The reading I did said you needed over 3.4 g per day (or 4 pills).

    I wouldn't say it hurt, but ip and exercise pretty much resolved any belly fat issues I had anyway. So I stopped taking it.
  • I currently take 3 grams of CLA daily along with 1,000 mg of krill oil as well. Both help regulate fat metabolism and cut abdominal fat as well. I get mine from Vitacost for super cheap.
