Hi,

I am going to go to New York for dinner for Valentines Day. Can I have shrimp or lobster with cocktail sauce and still be OP? I was looking at the restaurant menu and there are not too many appetizer choices.
Thank you:)

Staring with a Chocolate Shake (ready-made). Not sure about lunch. My coach is really not into the "coaching" part so I really enjoy the information I get from this board. Thanks All!

Cocktail sauce is usually made with ketchup and horseradish so I would say that might be a no-no. You might try making your own with some WF ketchup at home and taking that with you. Absolutely NO drawn butter with the lobster though.

I agree. Take some WF ketchup and ask for horseradish at the restaurant and mix up your own there. It's too tempting to add garlic butter to the lobster...yummm

Do any of you ladies take some type of appetite suppressant with the IP program?

Last year to get in shape for my wedding I was on phentermine and a low carb diet and the weight just fell off. Wondering if I should try something like that again?

Anyone else out there taking anything of the like, natural or otherwise?

Nope - Ketosis is an appetite suppressant.

You cannot "speed up" the weight loss on IP - it is fast enough on its own, while still being safe for your body.

I agree with Scorbett, no appetite suppressant is needed. And the weight does comes off amazingly fast on its own.

I think one of the great points of IP is learning what is real hunger and what is mental hunger and learning how to deal with both.

So my sister in law took me to Marshall's yesterday while we were getting post-storm supplies. I decided to try some stuff on, just because I don't really know what my size is at this point. Tried on some size 12 dresses - too big! Tried on some size 10's....a few fit loosely, but others were still TOO BIG!!! So I grabbed some size 8's which for the most part fit. One of the dresses that I THOUGHT was marked as a size 8 was actually a SIZE SIX!!!!!

I know it's cut a little big, and I don't really care if it's vanity sizing - I have a dress hanging in my closet that is a size 6!!!

SFNinerGirl 02-12-2013 10:04 AM

That dress looks great on you! The color blocks are very slimming as well.

1LittleStar 02-12-2013 10:05 AM

Wow, size 6 Scorbett!! That's amazing, and the picture looks great. Congratulations.

You can get a home scale, and order IP food from www.plainprotein.com until you figure things out or find another clinic.
