I have to take my synthroid as soon as I wake up, and wait about 2 hrs before having breakfast - so it's somewhere between 2 and 3 hrs after I wake up. I drink a big glass of water right away though. I think you have to figure out what works best for your body and your schedule.

We are hunkered down for the storm here, plenty of food, water, games and candles. I have to work every evening between now and Tuesday, but I live right across from the hospital I work in so can't call out for bad weather travel I'm expecting to get called in for overtime tomorrow, when people are digging out - that means having lunch, dinner and snack ready to grab and go. Sunday I'm already scheduled to work a double shift so I've got all 3 meals and snack planned out. It'll be a 100% OP blizzard for me!!!

Week 2 WI today. Down 2. Our kitchen has been taped off all week having drywall and paint work done so we've been eating out constantly. I think next week will have a better showing once we're back to cooking our own food and knowing exactly what goes in to it.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I hope everyone is ready up north for the cold weather. I had to break out my sweater today. The restaurant had the AC turned down to cold

Congrats to everyone on their awesome losses!!!

Today I weighed myself (I go by my scale, not my clinics) and I have lost 20 lbs officially!!! I am now down to the weight I had lost up to when I was on Herbal Magic 2 years ago before my wedding. Now I can continue from where I left off and GIT 'ER DONE this time!!

I used to wear the same outfit (a light weight one) at each weekly WI. Now that I've ditched my coach and am using alternatives I WI at home in my b-day suit as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. Can't get lighter than that!!

I start drinking water as soon as I get up in the morning (after I WI of course!), then have a large cup of tea which keeps me feeling satisfied for quite a while. I don't actually eat breakfast until at least 3 hours after I get up. I'm just not hungry early in the morning, but that has nothing to do with the diet.....I've always been that way.

Message for Ladylunk. You were asking where to buy Smooth Move in Canada. I buy it at the Bulkbarn. Couldn't send you a PM with this info.

Sigh.... today is pizza and king cake day at work. I won't cave, but sometimes this is tough! But nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

Down another 2 1/2 pounds at WI yesterday. Not quite to the 180's, but so close....should be there next week. I still have a long way to go, but my mind is already starting to think about phasing off...that will be such a happy day. Maintenance is the long and hard road, but looking forward to the challenge once I get there. Have a great weekend everyone!

You are not alone in having a long way to go.
We can all do it together! Congrats on this week's WI

That dang 1/2 lb delayed my onderland! But I still lost 2 lbs this week after being sick last week so no complaints I know I will see onderland next week!

Hello All!!
I found this forum by accident and I'm so happy I did!! I had my intro and picked up my packets and such on wednesday, but am not starting until Sunday. (wedding anniversary weekend - so one last free Hurrah!). Before I found this forum I was already second guessing myself for spending so much money for yet another unsuccessful attempt to lose weight. I was already sabitoging myself!
Now seeing all your successes and looking at all these tickers and photos I am so motivated to make this work!!

One questions though - I am seeing some big numbers for some people in the first few weeks on the program. Do those numbers tend to be higher if you have a higher starting weight? I'm starting at 162lbs so I wondered if my starting numbers might be lower. I want to set my expectation levels realistically. lol
