If you can't find what you're looking for in this forum using the website search function, try using the "double search" using Google.

1) Go to Google.com. Search 3fatchicks by using the term site:3fatchicks.com at the end of your Google search.

For example, if you want to look for "big mac in a bowl", type "big mac in a bowl site:3fatchicks.com" in Google search. No need to include the quotation marks when you type.

Second day out of town went great! Had 3 IP packets, lots of lettuce/veggies, and then super fresh and delicious ahi tuna with cukes and tomatoes (my first since starting IP) and a salad for dinner. So far so good!

I have two very casual Christmas parties tonight and tomorrow night but they'll be very crowded and no one will care about what I'm eating or drinking. Even if they do, I'm getting quite good at saying I'm on a highly restricted diet and leaving it at that. (Some people are interested in the details since they're looking to lose weight, too! )

Me, too! And I have a my stepson's family coming for the week with 4 kids under the age of 7. Then this weekend the two charity boards that I am on decided to hold meetings, one is scheduled for all day Saturday. Why would they do that now?!? I'm cruising for gifts online, but that takes a lot of time also. Sigh

Good Morning Incredible Shrinkers!

Nitney and Fishette: Good Luck!!!

Bubble Blower: Great job!!! I am impressed. Incentive for the rest of us traveling soon!

I had some trouble with the diet the last few days. My dr. had me go off Phase 1 for 3 days and I quit early and went back to phase 1. Lisa gave me a great tip about the enzymes, but then I realized I didn't take the IP Enzymes during that time off because I thought of them as Phase 1 supplements. -Will take them next time! Anyway, SO GLAD to be back on. Felt awful off!!!

We are unexpectedly going to be out of town from 12/25-1/4. I wasn't too worried about holiday traveling on the diet because trips would be short. I think I am going to just have the foods shipped directly to our destination and only bring enough to supplement that.

Plan to start incorporating Alternatives today. There are so many posts in the Alternatives info that I get a bit lost (Thank goodness for the new thread!) And I have notes from when I first started sorting through all the Alternative info.

I wish everyone the very best today! Sometimes I find this support such a strong force that when I consider a "cheat" I think, I don't want to have to go tell 3FC and let them down. We are all in this together!

I started IP this past Monday and have my first visit with my coach this afternoon. I'm excited because I feel like I've made headway.

I don't like to use the "My Fitness Journal" so I have been entering everything into "My Fitness Pal" on my computer and iPhone App. It makes it much easier...at least for me!

WI today with a loss of 3.2 lbs. So excited! Stayed OP through all the stress of the last two days. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my son. He is doing great this morning. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Holidays can be stressful, especially with everyone asking you question why you are not eating...I found the perfect response for me. I simply say "I'm on a medically controlled diet." They understand and pressure me anymore.

WELCOME ABOARD!!!!!! THe hardest part of this diet is starting and the first week, then you should be good!! Congrats on starting right before the holidays!!!

I'm struggling this week. TOM came after 6 month of nothing....then hit fast and hit hard!!!!!! OMG it was brutal. And I've got the holiday blues a bit....kinda feeling sorry for myself although I know I shouldn't!!! I made myself an IP travel bag like Rainbow's it's awesome!!! I thought that would help me focus through the holidays, but yesterday I had a slip up.

I'm back in the saddle this morning!! I got my addition Elle online order and the size 16 jeans I ordered to wear in another 20 or so pounds fit!!!!!!! it's definitely the boost I needed to pull me outta my slump and refocus again on what I want here!!! I am sooooo ready to get this done and get on with maintenance. So as USMVET says: MY FOCUS NEED MORE FOCUS

Hi Ragdoll!

Kay, I had to go back and read what I missed. I am so sorry!!! Take care of you. Then you'll be able to take care of everyone and everything else. (NOT to make your problems about me, but I have a son who had similar experiences, unconsciousness, seizures, etc., and we were so blessed and lucky that it worked out well for him. If you ever need to chat, vent, ask, etc, feel free to PM me.) You'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Keep us updated!

Maezy, I am still so tickled that we were probably sitting next to each other in traffic that morning!

I had good news from my doctor today! She'll let me stay on IP for at least 3 more weeks, AND we'll do the next "3 days off" as Phase 2, instead. And Lisa, you were right. I'll be taking the enzymes during that as well!

Thanks for all you do to share and motivate and support!!!
