Everyone at my work says that when I make it to goal I am going to be a total clothes horse and I am starting to believe them. Who would have thought an activity that only 6 months ago I hate so much could now be so much fun
I think it's smart to go shoe crazy while you make your way to goal, as you get lighter they get more COMFORTABLE and more likely to still fit you! Save the clothes craziness for when you are more settled in your 'final size'.

LOL - my baggy underwear is coming out of retirement in the next few weeks!

Just kidding. I am wearing a shirt that fits well for a change, my pants are a little too big but I'm kinda in between sizes. The winter jacket I am wearing is something I could not even zip up last year, now it's too big.
Hey Joby! No one ever said looking good was going to be cheap!

I WISH I had found IP when I was 23!!! Oh well...15 years after that...better late than never! How wonderful you are starting out your adulthood at such a healthy state!

I wear a suit daily so making 2 work is tough. I did buy a blazer and new slacks this week, it's no suit but will make do till I drop another 12 lbs. then I can buy a little tight and alter when I am at goal.
Asked the tailor about taking in dress shirts and they want $20 per shirt and they would still be big in the neck.
Okay I will stop b*^+~ing cause it is fun to hear the comments about how much weight I've lost!
Wow...haven't been here in a while. So many people with "too big" clothes!
So, my mini goal #6 is met and I still need to post a pic. I'll do it this weekend when I pull out the hard drive with the wedding pics. I want to post my wedding pic from 7/7/07 and me in the dress now. Almost 6 years later and it fits better! I was POURED into the thing for my beach wedding.
When I discovered the wedding dress fit, I tried on some other clothes. A red dress I was hoping to have shortened and wear to a wedding in May is too big NOW (I could have sworn I weighed less than this when I bought it!)
I also found a black lace dress in my "too small" box that I need somewhere to wear NOW. Like just a great date nite or sumthin. It is smokin hot & won't be my size much longer (pics when I do the wedding dress pics)
I now have ONE box for shopping left in my closet (down from four). I'm wearing my smallest pants from the box (there is one smaller, they still have the tags. Guess I bought & then started gaining). All my other pants are pretty loose but I'm holding out that warmer weather will move me into capris soon! There are some summer clothes in the box that still look itty bitty.
I've ordered a dress for that May wedding. Ordered 2 different sizes so I can return the one that is too big...
Here's a pic (model is NOT me!)
Cute dress! Those colors will look fabulous on you.
I have no idea... Nothing fits anymore!! My jeans literally slid off of my hips yesterday! So here's a question...when do i bother to spend money on new clothes?

When they are on sale! I typically buy 2 pairs of dress pants for work and 2 pairs of jeans when I go down a size. Everything is always on sale, I don't spend more than $25 on pants (usually around $20). If it is a really good sale, I also buy the next size lower so I am ready.
Tops seem to be more forgiving with the size changes. I'm just buying what I need to get by for now, and don't plan on restocking my closet until maintenance.
I don't have pics, but I love how my tops are flowing on me (as they should have) instead of tightening at all the rolls! Right before IP, I went out and bought 2 tops at Pengnintons and they asked me for my points card. I don't want a points card from here!!! (I yelled that on the inside BTW). Something clicked soon after, and now, I swear, I am never returning to that store again! And those two tops will be the reminders that I was very close to having one of those cards in my wallet....
