Unhappy Stomach flu....any suggestions?

I'm so ill right now and the BART diet is not in the least ip friendly. I emailed my coach, but no answer so far.

Anyone else get really sick on ip, and have any words of wisdom? Thanks!

Ginger tea with salt (to replace any salt you are losing)
Take it easy on food til tummy settles back down

I stuck with hot tea and chicken broth when I had the flu. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I came down with one yesterday. Didn't eat at all yesterday. Today I ate a 40 calorie whole wheat slice of bread for breakfast and a plain grilled chicken breast for lunch. So far, so good.

I had the stomach flu Monday.. you're probably over yours by now but thought I'd contribute! I only had sugar free popsicles (they still have a couple sugar alcohols, but beat the sugar loaded normal kind) which were delicious and soothing to a tired body. Diet ginger ale, chicken noodle soup, and later on bread. When you're that sick and your body wants to reject difficult to digest food then it may simply be worth it to get some carbs in, at least until you're ready to eat real food again!

The science department of IP suggested ginger tea, alkaseltzer tablets, and the soups once you can keep down food.
