Scary news about Sandy - glad to hear from those of you that came through it OK...

I have laid down the law about Halloween in our house -

1. hubby will shop for candy the day of, or hide it in his truck until the day of
2. he will distribute all candy
3. immediately after, he will lock remaining candy in his truck to take to work the next day and give it away
4. no Reese's cups - my favorite!

After more than 100 days, this scares me... Boo!

Default Leg Cramps?

I am waking up every night with cramps in my left calf (charlie horse). This has happened to me on diets before. I do get my salt, water and take all the recommend supplements. Any suggestions for relieving these?

Thanks and Congratulations on all the loses this week!

Good for you! Wise woman! I was scared I would give in to temptation last night, so I had DD pack a leftover Halloween party cupcake in her lunch & then I THREW THE REST AWAY!!! Whoo-hoo...I used to feel guilt about wasting food...now I am glad I won't be "waisting" it (on my waist).

Better yet, we just go out so we're not even around. Easy to do with no kids at home . I get my fill of Halloween at school during the day. Any candy I'm given goes to hubby (or in the trash... I don't give the ciao to my students either) Somewhere quiet is usually in store for Halloween nite. No wine this year but that's okay...the weight loss MORE than makes up,for it!

Halloween not an issue at my house! The first year I moved there, I opened and got 4 yes FOUR teens... But I'll have to have a talk with my teen who's still trick or treating this year.

Question for you guys: I'm so craving bread right now, it's not even funny. I would probably give my left arm for a nice toasted tomato sandwich... (that is, if I didn't have so much success with this protocol)
Any recipe that is close to bread? (that is not sweet)

Look in Rainbow's mixin in the kitchen recipes (part 1)
She made some things in english muffin molds that could hold a tomato sandwich nicely.
Even if you find the part 2, Molly made a link to all the recipes.

That happens to me too. My coach told me to double up on my pottasium supplement for a few days. Does the trick.
