Default Turkey Bacon

I have a quick question - i saw a few recipes on this board that included turkey bacon. Is this allowed on the plan?

I guess the confusion comes into play as there are a number of things included in the recipes on this board that are not on the sheet. Many folks seem to enjoy them without an issue.

It was just an honest question.

I understand your confusion, I haven't seen the recipe you are speakin of. Basic rule of thumb for the program is if its not 0/0/0/ then its not allowed.

I've been on Phase 2 for several months due to financial reasons. My coach has said that turkey bacon is ok. I heat 2 strips of thin tb in the microwave, then crumble it into my scrambled eggs (along with mushrooms, peppers, whatever) for lunch frequently. It adds a nice flavor. I would not have used it if I didn't get the ok from my coach.
