Hope all goes well with your MIL - caring for someone can be a major stressor, don't let it get you down!

I started IP on 8/14/12, just went for my week 8 weigh in & lost 2.8lbs & 2 3/4 inches! I love this program. So far I am down 30.8lbs and 18 1/4 inches!!!

Aw thanks Hubby took that picture at the local Working Waterfront Festival a week and a half ago. I hadn't realized how much weight came out of my face till he showed it to me!

I have been away for several weeks and now back to finish phase 1 of my IP journey. Haven't seen a pic of you in a long time, you look INCREDIBLE! Congrats on the weight loss and especially the most recent 6 lb whoosh!

It's interesting how we are all so different. I have an easier time losing weight in the winter since there are less dinners out, fewer parties. For many years I would purposely start a diet right before Thanksgiving so I wouldn't go overboard for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it worked most of the time. Otherwise I go a little wild on my mother's Christmas cookies...Although as a friend of mine says, it isn't what you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving that matters. Makes sense too.

It's good to have a few packets of the chocolate soy ball around for chocolate craving days...I find it only take a few to satisfy the sweet. Tooth, and much better than real sugar!
