Default Day 5 down....long ways to go! Lettuce a must??

Brand new to IP , and to this online community. Can't wait for my first WI in three days. You are all so very inspirational. I know what to do when I have a craving....read all your wonderful success stories and words of wisdom.

Do you have to eat lettuce in addition to the veggies, or is it more of a filler?

No, you do not have to have lettuce! It doesn't count towards your 2 cups of veggies, so if you're finding it to be too much, just cut it out!

I hardly ever have lettuce, hasn't affected my losses. I don't find that hunger is a problem so I have no need for filler!

FOUR cup of veggies, but any lettuce is in addition to that. I have salads during extremely hungry times

Default Thanks so much!

That is great to hear....the hardest part has been trying to stomach lettuce in addition to the veggies, so I'll just cut out the lettuce. Feeling super excited about the upcoming journey.....bring on the fat loss!!

I don't really eat lettuce either. Tend to burn out on it quickly....
