Yes...I am in Casper and it is a Miche Bag Party. Not sure if I will buy anything. Going on a cruise in 2 weeks and I would rather spend the money at some port of call on something I can't get here! But I will go to be supportive of my friend.

I love, love, love my Miche bag!

I went to a 50th birthday celebration for a dear friend and it was filled with food on every flat surface. It all looked so good but not good enough to derail me. I made certain that before the party my husband and I had a good dinner. We had pulled pork with rutabaga fries and roasted broccoli. Pre-IP I never would have made it through the evening without trying all the food (multiple times) but now no problem. We just drank our water and enjoyed visiting with friends.

My husband and I were going to have dinner in town last night and our way in my mom called and asked if we would come help her get my dad back to the ER, he was having issues with his incision site. So to plan B and not dinner. It took a while to get him loaded and unloaded into our truck. Needless to say we didn't get to dinner until close to ten pm. They had closed up the salad bar and the steak special was over for the night. We were still able to get a steak and salad though so it was all good...just late. The best news is that my dad doesn't have an infection and the incision looked good.

So today I have to take my son shopping for pants for his work uniform...I might even try some on myself. I am down to one pair of jeans that I can pull on and off without unbuttoning. The weather is getting colder and the pants I have are still pretty tight in my waist and leave red welts...so another week or so before I can wear them. Have a fabulous Sunday and to my friends in Canada...Happy Thanksgiving Weekend.

Don't you just LOVE the amount of "willpower" IP gives you? I can be around foods I used to CRAVE and I just don't want them (or not usually). I had a hungry week last week but worked thru that & stayed OP. It feels so much better knowing that I'm healing my body rather than making it sicker and sicker. And I'm doing it with my food choices!

Social occasions have become about the PEOPLE and not about the food. How great is that!?!

Is it just me, our is it kind of bizarre being able to feel bones you've never felt before?? I can feel my shin bones, my scapula, and other bones. It is such a foreign feeling. I've been used to feeling soft fat, not hard bones lol

Can we have turkey bacon and sausage? I'm feeling a bit better today. Mild headache but did find some 0-0-0 vanilla and caramel flavoring at the store. Can start doctoring up the pouches.

Good luck! I'm on day 3 and today is better than yesterday. I'm hoping tomorrow I will feel even better.

Sausage is usually too high in fat - I read somewhere once that 2 slices per week of turkey bacon was acceptable, but I would check with your coach.

So I was walking around the store yesterday and found a product called "Clear America" flavored sparkling water. It's 0,0,0 across the board. Just wondering if anyone has tried it

I've seen that at my local Wal-Mart, was going to get some until I saw it had aspartame

I tried to make jicama chips in the oven - for those who have made them - what is the texture they are supposed to be? Are they soft like baked apples or crunchy?
