Hungry
I'm 12 days in and today i'm having a strange day. I got up and had my supplements, and ate breakfast.
and today there is still 2 hours till lunch and my stomach is already growling? but yet all the other days I was not hungry this early in the day again.
I dont have any lettuce here at home, I have some cucumbers, or would it be ok if I had a boiled egg? I'm on Phase 1?
Just wanted to know. Thanks

You can have 2 egg whites a day as a freebie.
Someone posted before that usually if you have days that you are hungry, you have a big loss that week.

I'd go with an egg or egg whites. No need to suffer through it! When I'm hungry, eating vegetables alone just won't cut it.

I'm only on day 5, so here's my opinion for what its worth... My coach said if the egg, or an extra IP packet is going to save you from ..say, a chocolate bar or a bag of chips (or whatever) EAT IT! I like her attitude, because if im going to cheat, i want to make sure it's not something that i'll regret, or will kick me out of ketosis. With that said.. only one day in 5 have i eaten the extra packet, and that was sunday (day 2) which was a very bad day for me, that i took an advil and had a nap.
also, have you been drinking your water? i just wondered.

I have never seen that we can have two egg whites a day as a freebie. LOL, i'll be pulling out my package when i get home!

Yes lots and lots of water, so that can't be the issue, but thanks for the tip, that's very true, if I was to cheat I would want it to be something that wont kick me out of Ketosis.

I hope it's actually on the sheet =) I don't remember if it was on the sheet or if the coach told me that. I'm on week 13, and have the egg whites daily.
I haven't had a week with less than 2 lbs lost so far.

I am nine weeks in and the last day or two I have been sooooo hungry. I just ate my bar (which I usually reserve for lunch). So, now I am afraid I will still be hungry at lunch because my salad just does not fill me up. I have been fine and not hungry on IP up until the last two days. What gives?

I've been starving lately too, and I've been on since June. I actually seriously think it's the weather changing that affects us. It's a fact that on avg. people put on a few pounds a year -- usually in the fall and at holidays. Over time those pounds add up. I think our cave man bodies "get ready for winter" and want to store some energy in case our mammoth meat runs out too soon! It's just my theory but I'm with ya on the hunger part and have started having an omelette for breakfast this week, and that is helping

You will probably have a great weigh in next time.
I started to eat 2 egg whites for breakfast to help with hunger. I then wait to have a shake or bar until I get hungry mid morning. It's helped with my hunger issues.

I also often do the 2 egg whites early in the am ( I get up at 5am), then my IP packet/bar around 8-9. That helps with the lunch hungries.
My coach also has me eat one egg white for each hour over 4 between meals so I don't burn my lean muscle mass.
