Searching:
If you can't find what you're looking for in this forum using the website search function, try using the "double search" using Google.

1) Go to Google.com. Search 3fatchicks by using the term site:3fatchicks.com at the end of your Google search.

For example, if you want to look for "big mac in a bowl", type "big mac in a bowl site:3fatchicks.com" in Google search. No need to include the quotation marks when you type.

2) This will bring up the page that you are looking for, now hit Ctrl+F to search on that page. Type "big mac in a bowl" and all instances of that search term will be highlighted.

Good Morning...it's going to be a longggggggggg day...been up since 2:30am. At 4am I wanted my breakfast but figured if I did that, by 8am I would be eating lunch.

Happy hump day!

Started the morning with an NSV - got out of the shower and grabbed a towel. Turns out I grabbed a standard size not the bath sheets I've usually used...and I could wrap it all the way around!!! Woot!

WI Wednesday for me, not sure what's going to happen as I don't feel like I've lost a bunch this week, but I'm due for another low loss week anyway so we'll see what happens!

can u still loose if your not in ketosis state and how long after u staRT THE DIET DOES IT TAKE TO GET IN KETOSIS

So I've been doing great on IP!!! In 7 weeks I lost 42lbs. I do have one issue though. Whenever I eat my veggies I get severe stomach cramping and the big "D". I found if I eat them in small portions then it doesn't affect me, but I'd like to be able to just do them at 2c at a time. Anyone else have this afflication?

OMG! I can't wait for that! ESP in hotels when traveling! Good for you!

Flat-out fabulous! Isn't it interesting how we all lose at different rates? I'm 8-weeks in & just passed the 25 lb mark

Many people answered you on the previous post and gave excellent references, in case you havent gone back. It typically takes 3-5 days to get into ketosis, aka fat burning mode, if you stick to the protocol.

AnnaBoBanna, hope you had a great birthday. Congratulations on dumping those 40 pounds!

Just finished my workout, and now I have to get ready for work, but I am signing on here so I can get notifications and follow along on my cellphone at work. Shhh, don't tell the boss.

Oh, I made a cup of herbal peppermint tea last night, left it overnight (pulled the teabag), added a few ice cubes and a packet of chocolate drink mix this morning, and YUMMO!

Yes, you can lose weight without being in ketosis and it generally takes about 3 to 5 days to get into ketosis.

Hello all! It's been a very long time since I've jumped on here. I was wondering if there is a place to order food online. I am in maintenance now, but want t drink or bar every once in a while, my clinic so far far out of the way that it would be ideal (no pun intended) if I could order online. Anyone know of a site?

Supposed to have WI today, but just found out that I have to make an unexpected trip out of town. I'm excited that I get to see my dad, but kinda not happy, too. He hasn't seen me since I started losing and I didn't think he would until Christmas. I wanted him to be surprised. My parents are divorced and I have always had issues feeling like I couldn't live up to his expectations. He tells me he loves me all the time and does so much for me, but you know, when you don't live with him all the time he is like some superhero. His comments in the past about me needing to lose weight have infuriated me. I really don't want him to know I'm dieting. I know he will be proud of me, but I don't want (or need) him asking me about it and "encouraging" me. He is the only one I feel this way about. (I SAID I have issues!) I really just wanted to show up at Christmas and be all skinny!

Thanks for being my therapists this morning!
