Alcohol is worse than carbs, really. Carbs and pro have 4 cal per gram, and alcohol has 9 cal per graham. It puts weight on almost as much as fat.

Agreed. That is what Wuv meant. IP is too expensive for me to cheat at all. I won't cheat. Too expensive! both financially and emotionally

They say that it takes 3 days to get back into ketosis if you knock yourself out, that's why they say one box of IP.

Obviously this is a decision you will have to make for yourself, but I will just add my two cents...This is an expensive program that does require you to stick to strict guidelines in order to see the results that make it worth it. That said, many of us that struggle with weight don't like to feel deprived (hence our weight issues). If you restrict yourself and build up feelings of deprivation, you are less likely to be able to stick to the program long-term.

So...I would not make it a spur of the moment decision. Set a goal, plan and stick to it. For me, I stayed 100% OP for over 2 months and got more than half-way to my goal. Then, I planned to enjoy a few drinks at a very important family event. No restricted that day or the day after. It WAS worth it to me and will NOT be a habit. I had a great time, felt like a "normal" person and now feel recharged to make it to goal staying 100% again and not fall prey to the deprivation feeling that has ended MANY a diets for me in the past.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but 2 weeks is still pretty early in the game. You're still learning the program. Really think hard about it. Stay in control. If you do decide to go for it...ENJOY

I didn't say it was, I was simply answering the question about the box of IP.

But one could lead to two, which could lead to three, which could then lead to some cheese and crackers and so on and so forth!!! LOL!!! Not worth it. IMHO. Peach.

In my opinion, you have to be 100% committed to the diet... if you're in the right mindset, then you won't WANT to cheat. Cheating isn't worth it, at all.
