Thanks for bumping this!

DH and I were looking at these online last night and once all of our dust settles and we get back from vacation, we are going to invest in one!
We love wings and fries during football season and this just seems SO much healthier!

I scored a like-new Actifry at a thrift store yesterday for only $20. I made turnip fries in it last night. I ran the machine for about 30 minutes. The fries were definitely tasty (I seasoned them with a little garlic salt and Mrs. Dash), but not very crispy. Did they need to be in the machine longer? Or is that just the way turnip fries are?

Tonight I might try chicken or cauliflower rice in there.

HereIStand - I find turnips aren't so good in the actifry but rutabegas are awesome!
