Question Extra packet the first week?

I have been very good at sticking to this and measuring everything, but I have been SO hungry! I have ended up adding one extra packet yesterday the past two days because I was ridiculously HUNGRY! I did sneak a quick peak on the scale today and I am down 4.2 pounds and 1.2% body fat and my clothes are fitting better today (in only 3 days) but I hope I am not making a huge mistake by adding the extra packet these few days. I was a little less hungry today and I know that when ketosis is in full swing it will get better.

How long does it take on average to get into fat burning mode?

Is lettuce the only freebie?

Sorry for all the questions, but I do ideal2go and don't really have a coach to turn to, so I figure asking the pros on here is the best way to go

My coach allowed me to have four packets total my first week to curb the hunger. I also suggest lots and lots of water. Good luck!

Thanks Maegan240 I have been drinking a ton of water. I feel like I am peeing every 10 minutes. I bought some iced tea today and when I got home realized it had aspartame so I gave it to a coworkers. I saw the crystal light pure have 15 calories so I passed them up.

Oh, and I missed your middle question, to get into ketosis (for me) it was the 3rd or 4th day. You should be in it or getting close. You may notice your breath or urine start to smell different once you are in ketosis.

Try having a cup of hot tea when you feel hungry, it really helps!

Ditto on the hot tea. I also bought the snack packs of dill pickles. The salt/crunch factor helps me too. I have also started adding spinach and ice to the shakes- seems like you are getting more.

Also make sure you are getting enough salt and oil(fat). These will both help too and are required with the plan.

My coach gave me enough in my intro bag to have 4 packets/day during my first week, but honestly I just 'powered through' that week in a carb-detox fog at 3/day and brought back the 7 extras for 'credit'.

I also drink 2 cups of hot tea every night to curb my urge to snack late night (My name is Liz, and I am a recovering midnight snacker).
