Default Rutabaga vs turnip!

So last year on IP, with a different coach, rutabagas were a no no, now this year to finish up on IP, a different coach, rutabagas are ok. What gives lol. I prefer using rutabagas as I can get them already cut at the IGA here. What do you guys think?

What about green peppers raw only, other colours cooked. I always forget lol

Rutabagas are on the select veggie list so cooked or raw is fine. Bell peppers only and they can be cooked or raw also. The colored peppers do have a higher content of sugar so I believe that is why IP says to stick to green.

It is amazing why not one coach is the same. I imagine they must all attend the same basic courses then they personalize it. Some drink coffee, some arent allowed.

I can taste the higher sugar in the colored peppers, its like a dessert lol...

the colored peppers are on my restricted veggies (twice a week). I tend to have the same issues here.

I love rutabaga and have it one a week. I also love roasted colored peppers and have them the other time during the week. I have given up tomatoes so I can have these veggies. Funny what we give up for the "weird" things on this diet...

I hate to throw in a wrench, but another IP'er informed me that all colored peppers are now OK...I forget who but search the thread I think it was in either a daily or one of the "extra" posts...I'll dig around this afternoon for it too.

I always ate the colored peppers because they were pretty and sweeter. I have them at least 4 times a week, sometimes daily.

After a while its nice to change to something with such pretty colors, since we are not eatting the pretty fruits right now.

Maybe when we get the info sheets, they arent as up to date as others. I imagine they will want to use up the sheets before printing more. Some coaches seem to really want to stick 100% and others seems to go through the montions. This time my coach is a nurse, so I feel more intune with her, but I wish she would stop trying to sell me things from her estethic shop lol... Her wf sauces are half the price I used to pay at the gym where I went to IP last year. Makes it more affordable.

Ideal Protein updates the protocol every so often, and I think regional representatives are supposed to get the updated sheets to the clinics. I think sometimes they aren't sent to clinics the way they are supposed to be. Our clinic just got an updated sheet last month. Rutabaga, Rhubarb, all bell peppers, and Jicama are now on the "select veggies" list. Other changes: you now must eat 8oz of meat with dinner, not 5-8oz. Also, phase one is now for 100% of the weight loss goal rather than 90%.

Are you able to scan that new list and post it on here. Jicama is on there now as a regular veggie for phase 1??? How nice that would be?

We just started the program last week at a clinic that goes to all of the new training's and specializes specifically in weight loss. This is 100% accurate to the information we received.

I have all peppers, daily. Sometimes cooked sometimes raw. They are on my IP sheet as non- restricted veg.
