I work 7p to 7a. I have lost 51 lbs in 15 weeks. My coach was wonderful with planning my meals.

My history with weight is that I was a normal weight until my early 20's and then I start to gain...about a month ago I hit a new decade on the scale (the 60's...260's) and couldn't figure out how I had gotten there (well, I know, bad habits, eating fast food, ice cream, etc to my hearts delight) but my clothes weren't fitting. After having to go out and purchase more bare essentials to get me through I decided that enough was enough. A friend was doing the IP diet and she loved it! She said she was energized, never hungry, didn't have a carbo-fog anymore. I signed up enthusiastically.

However, in reality it's been so hard...I've been starving, nauseous, and I feel like I can't think straight. I know it will be worth it though! I've been a notorious cheater on past diets and I know I can't cheat on IP so that's another reason I'm excited to have a community. Also would love to have others at the same point in the plan I am to talk to!
Hi LSJ..I started on last Wednesday May 2nd and am going to weigh in for the first time this afternoon. I think it will get better for us the more we understand about keeping those carbs in check! I am such a carboholic! The support and information on here is wonderful. Good luck to you and I will post my weight later...hoping to lose 5 lbs!

I don't care for the processed foods at all! But I am good with the shakes so I just do those. I can't do the WF dressings either! GROSS aftertaste! Really don't hardly know what to eat anymore. This is very hard to follow for me. I want it to work so badly. So far not doing so good and my coach is no help. Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

I started about a week ago. The WF dressing - a little goes a long way, if you get to much, it is too strong. Have you tried a different kind? I don't care for the thousand island, but the ranch isn't so bad. Tonight for supper I had 7 ounces of grilled chicken on a huge bed of lettuce, cucumbers, onion,, etc. It was yummy and I am full. Last night I didn't eat a lot of lettuce. I took two leaves and wrapped my hamburger in it with a pickle, a little onion and some mustard that is 0,0,0. Then I had spinach for the rest of my vegie. Have you tried stir fry or kabobs? Stuffed green peppers? Gotta be a little creative. Also, you can if you like oil/vinegar dressing, you white vinegar and a little olive oil. There is a dressing with lemon juice and tabasco sauce you can you too. Good luck! This is a great resource - lots of inspiration

Default First Post

Hello All,

This is my first post. My wife and I have been doing IP for the last 10 weeks and we have been extremely pleased with our success in the program. We have both lost between 28 to 30 pounds. I want to thank all of you who regularly post to the forums as you have been an incredible inspiration to both of us. I also want to particularly thank our friend TMG1989 who has been a phantom coach and inspiration for us to enter the program . We have been following IP protocol strictly and I have been experimenting a little bit with food/packet combinations just to keep it interesting. I will post some of the suggestions in the food forums. Thank You Thank You Thank You again for all of your inspiration!

Default My Scale Addiction

I am Mid 2nd week & I couldn't stay off my scale each morning

The weight fluctuations were upsetting me & ruining my day!! Soooooo I did the only thing I could... Last night I had my husband hide the scale & made him promise not to tell me where it was... Yeah, problem solved!!

Hoping for a nice surprise on WI #2 on Thursday.

Have a great evening everyone!!
