I am having a hard time with the pudding (I have tried twice) I am hoping you guys have ideas. There are so many flavors and recipes it will really open up my options. My issue is that it doesn't seem very sweet and bigger issue I can only get thru a few bites and then it seems weird like the taste gets odd and it is hard to swallow I find myself trying to force myself to finish as much as I can but I am not enjoying it I am choking it down. Maybe some people just don't like it but I figured I would check to see if there were any tricks or if other people have the same issues. I appriciate your help or ideas
I like the Dark Chocolate warm. I just make it as prepared, heat in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, add SF Hazelnut creamer and it's pretty good. I will admit it isn't my favorite but it's not bad!
I found the texture and flavor unappealing, but then I started combining the premade vanilla shake with the banana pudding or most of the others and diluting to make a drink (two servings), and found it very tasty. You can just put it over ice, make popsicles with it, or throw it in the blender with ice. Same idea using the premade chocolate shake with the dark chocolate pudding. The premade shakes are some of the best things they make...
I shake it well, then let it sit for a while. The texture gets more like real pudding and it tastes less powdery. Especially if you let it sit in the fridge. Hope that helps!
I add WF Chocolate Syrup to the chocolate pudding and WF Caramel Syrup to the caramel pudding. I dislike the banana pudding and the strawberry as well. I try and add more water and this helps.
Add a packet of splenda to it. I don't ever eat the puddings as pudding any longer, I make them into shakes with more water and add ice in my bullet. You can also add some of the Sugarfree syrups for different flavors. If you make the pudding add a few cubes of ice just like 1-2 and it makes it more like a mousse than a pudding. You could also add the Marshmellow cream (WF)....just a few ideas for you. I will bump up the "fun with IP Packets" to give you more ideas
I also found the IP chocolate pudding to have minimal flavor. I do primarily alternative products but do have some IP.
I add choclate flavored stevia to it, 2 c of spinach, ice cubes and my high speed blender (Ninja) and have a chocolate shake and get my veggies in. Works well. The spinach becomes practically tasteless and makes it thicker. The extra chocolate stevia extends the flavor so it's not diluted too much. I buy "Sweet Leaf" liquid chocolate stevia (also have just about every other flavor) and buy it online through iherb.com, they have free shipping for orders >$20. The 2 oz bottle of liquid stevia lasts a long time - don't let the size fool you - you use 3-4 drops to start, I'm estimating never used more than 10 drops - its highly effective as a sweetener.
I'm ordering my puddings from Doctors Weight Loss and I really like them! I have at least one a day, dark choclate is my favor...without aspartame! And price is a big plus
I do something like wuv does - mix a half a packet of pudding with a half a packet of drink, then mix with 10 oz water for a shake. I don't have a bullet blender - they look cool.
My favorite is the pina colada drink mixed with the strawberry pudding. A great morning drink!
My coach said that I could have one T real PB in lieu of the morning dairy in coffee/tea - so I did that once in the milk chocolate pudding. Now THAT was good. You'd have to check with your coach whether he/she feels that is OK or not. Don't want to steer you wrong.
I like the vanilla pudding with Torani white chocolate SF syrup and cinnamon. I also started putting the chocolate pudding in my coffee with vanilla bean sf syrup-eh it's okay but the vanilla pudding is a lot better to me.
I made the zucchini "apple slices" and eat them warm with either the lemon or the butterscotch pudding. This is my new addiction! Nice cold texture of pudding with the warm "apples". Gets a veggie in too!
I add vanilla and Stevia to all my puddings. I also like to add a drop or two of peppermint extract to the chocolate pudding (chocolate and mint being my favorite flavor combo long before IP). But my current favorite way to eat the vanilla pudding is with vanilla, cinnamon, Stevia and 2 egg whites made up as waffles (got the recipe from the stickies) and served with WF syrup. Yum!
