Default 1 net carb bread question.

Can I have Jullian 1 net carb bread on the program? It has 1 gram of fat
And 0 sugar and 1 net carb per slice they say. lots of protein and fiber.
This is less than some of my ip foods. What do you think?

The calories are higher than many IP packets....I would say no unless you are on one of the later phases. Or unless that is your meal (since it has 12 grams of protein), plus veggies.

If you are missing bread or sandwiches try making pancakes with the IP chicken soup. I have been using this for "bread" and filling it with veggies for lunch.

Not a fan of bread (used on phrase 3) paid close to $8.00 for loaf. Going to try their net 3 carb although because would really love to have bread more often now that I am in maintance...

Thanks for the Julian info - I'm on phase 3 and may just try some. Can't get it locally but you can order on-line. cool!

You could always try ezeikal sp? bread. I have heard its somewhat decent for diabetics as well... You usually can find it in the organic-ish section...

You can also make pita bread with the crepe recipe. Really good with salad. The recipe is in the recipe forum. I have it a few times a week.
