Hi everyone. Day 8 for me. Yesterday was a tough one, but I am resolved to keep at it today. Noticed sagging skin on breasts last night. Not pretty! I guess that's the first place you loose. I'll start weight training and bicyling again next week. My coach told me no exercise for the first 2 weeks. I did go show shoeing on Sunday, that was a blast.

No money. I'd do it in a heartbeat, after at least a year or two of giving the body a chance to recover what it can. I'm on disability and am selling my house because of expenses. If I ever get rich, I'd sure do it. It'd cost over $40,000 to do my arms, stomach, breasts, thighs and butt. I'll just have to live with it all for now and wear short sleeves.

Braggs has a different kind of taste. A little hard to describe. Almost pungent. It's good but you have to see how you like it. We had it with a beef stir fry the other day and it seemed to break down the meat. So the texture was interesting. It is very good for you as we need Amino Acids. Put a smaller amount on chicken and could not really taste it. Also used Chinese 5-spice with beef so that also had an impact on the flavor. Intense but good. Lifted it with some fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Also, antibiotics are allowed on this diet.

I actually don't buy anything that falls into the "so good" category just because I don't want to be tempted, lol. I work from home every day, so it's just better that I limit my temptations to veggies, lol.

Hi Angie,

I work from home all the time - it can be a landmine! What I do is have my meals on a schedule - i'm on the "5's" - 12:05, for example. Then, I know how long it was since and until my next meal. I also write down everything, including my water intake. That way, I know I am getting the amount I need, and not forgetting about it.

Things didn't change for me until about day 5 -until then, I was super hungry all the time. I was pretty hungry day 5-10. Now I am on day 13 and feel moderate hunger right before meals. I have stopped thinking about food all the time - which is great, because I sit right next to it all day.

Hang in there - you are doing great! Hopefully you will feel better soon.

This diet is all about planning and yesterday I dropped the ball! It was an unexpectedly busy day and I left the house without food thinking I would be back in time to eat and I was not. At the end of the day I ended up eating a hamburger patty at 8:00 pm, getting home at 9 and not eating my veggies. Then I had a shake at about 9:15 and went to bed. This is the first day in 8 weeks I haven't done the program exactly right!

Lesson learned, an emergency kit in the car could really be helpful! Also don't get too relaxed on planning!

Anyway no real harm done just don't want to get off my groove!

I hope everyone has a good day and remember, plan ahead!

Looks like it has been a good week for weight losses. We can do this one day at a time.

Nope. Just IP. We started right before New Year's. We set a 100 day goal, well commitment because you know we did not know what we were getting into when we started. I budgeted for 5/6 months just in case it worked....based that on weight loss numbers I saw on this board. Based on my height and amount to lose I thought I might lose 3 pounds a week and assumed he might lose 5 pounds a week. I ended up averaging 2 and he 4 but that's fine. 3 months to a really good place.

As an aside but related I felt like I got my honey back. Within days of losing I saw someone I had rarely seen FOR YEARS. He was yucky and grumpy and unpleasant for so long. But, he really enjoys this diet and has done so well. I mean he eats beef/steak nearly every day. What man wouldn't enjoy that?He started communicating more. I did not know he talked. It was like that weight was burdening him, holding him back, controlling him. Carbs had a hold of him. I now understand this better (Blood Sugar Solution...Dr. Hyman) Carbs are more addictive than drugs.

He dropped quickly, as men do, and my losses have been slow and steady. Very slow but steady. We actually take turns losing weight. For example he was at 52 lbs the other day and so yesterday I got to 26. Today he hit 54 lbs so I should lose my next pound in a few days. It's funny how it works but my weight loss is almost always half of his. I started at about 1/2 his weight and plan on ending at 1/2 his weight.

Wuv, how is your friend Hassan ?? I thought I would ask because his name is still on my prayer list.
Thanks for asking, He is not doing well. He was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome. They did a spinal tap on him yesterday but could not get any fluids at all, not a drop. He had a bad night last night and started vomiting. I haven't talked to his wife yet today, I am hoping they are getting some rest. I will call and check on him later today. Please keep him on your prayer list....Thank you soooo much

Thats awesome, Big D and Bubba on the radio station are trying to lose 100lbs in 100days!!...y'all are doing great!

I had my 46th WI today and gained 2lbs which was expected. I was honestly expecting like a 5lb gain or so since being on Phase 3 for 2 weeks. So I am ok with it. I am going back to Phase 1 tomorrow so next week I should have a good loss, we will see.

Purple Sky, I am sure it makes dieting a little easier since you are both dieting.
