Default new to IP and need dinner ideas

I'm on day 5 - doing pretty well, but I'm looking for recipes for dinners - chicken, fish, something that doesn't have to go over a salad - (all I have had for dinner has been steamed shrimp over salad ) I am really committed to this but have no clue what to make!

I don't know if we have similar taste but I've been blogging each of my daily menus, maybe something will inspire you? (check soggy for link)
The recipe thread on here is also good for ideas.

Did you see the thread on recipes? They are tons of them. Personally, I keep it simple and bake, steam or boil my protein (except my tofu I saute it in OO). I either dip my protein in WF dijon mustard or use a soy sauce with fresh garlic and ginger...real simple! There's a Finish man Finn (something) that has a FB page and is on here and EVERYONE raves about his creations and such. Once you start exploring you'll find him... I would attach a link but I don't know what I would attach...

I never have salad for dinner because I eat a salad everyday for lunch. Do check out the links wuv left. I will tell you my favorite thing to make on IP is the mock "fried rice". The recipe is on finns site. It is wonderful and my husband who is not on IP loves it too. It can be with or without protien. It does take a bit of prep but worth it especially if you like chinese or stir fry meals. see below-

Grate up cauliflower which takes on a rice consistancy and adapts to all flavors. I hand grate it cause I don't have a machine to grate.
Chop up some veggies like peppers, scallions, celery, broccoli what ever allowable veggies you want. I generally do 1 cup shredded cauliflower and one cup other chopped veggies.

In a fry pan add your 2 tsp olive oil throw in your harder veggies first to saute and any meats like chicken that take more time to cook.
Then add your shredded cauliflower. Toss it around with your other veggies and protien. Add soy sauce to taste. I usually add about 4 shakes of a bottle and any other seasoning you want.

I love it. Sometimes I have it with only veggies other times I add shrimp, chicken or salmon. I hope you like it.

I really like your blog too! I wish I had done that last year when I first found ip as I often forget myself what I did, and I think the more personal stories people can read, the better.
Keep blogging!

Default soup!

I'm loving soups right now! I feed them to my whole family-and all the kids-and hubby love them!

The best is a stew-browned cubed beef, celery root, asparagus, leeks, whatever other veggies I have around-seasonings(really like K-paul's beef seasoning). Crock pot on low all day! AMAZING! the celery root REALLY tastes and feels like potatoes! And I am a potato lover! Really should try them mashed sometime!

I got the ideal protein cookbook-and am loving the new ideas!

And no, I didn't copy the stew-that one i made up!
