Can you start to have *some* of the symptoms before you go into ketosis? I'm kind of feeling the whole bad breath thing and it's driving me crazy. I don't feel as "blah" either, but I'm not all LET'S CLEAN THE HOUSE & EVERY SINGLE THING IN IT TOOOOOOO weeee! Not quite like that lol.
Can you even go into ketosis after 3 days?

I'm sure I'm not in ketosis and I feel like I want to clean everything in the house x.x My room is a mess because of how I'm tearing apart everything and organizing xD
I started chewing on a piece of gum as I started cleaning and I didn't even notice it until about an hour later. I really hope something as little as gum doesn't mess this up for me D;

A moderate amount of gum is okay. I chew 1 every night when I'm at home cooking dinner. It keeps me from just accidentally mindlessly tasting things that I'm cooking. I posted something about gum that IP actually had on their FB page a couple of days ago and basically it said that a little bit of sugar free gum is okay, but since most have just under 1g of sugar (and with any amount less than 1 you can put 0g on the package) if you chew 10 pieces you could be getting 10 grams of sugar without even realizing it.
Sorry, that's a longwinded way to say you're fine.

Thank you all so much for the info on the cucumber salad.
Magicpinecone-- hi! We started the same day!! And our stats are almost identical. I think it was your post that I read about you coming off BP meds recently?! I go to my doc in two weeks to hopefully come off mine. I was put on them 6 months ago right after having my baby. Everytime I stand up- I have to give myself a minute cuz I get so dizzy an lightheaded. He already cut my dose in half, but I'm thinking I don't need it at all,, yayyy and congrats on all of your successes

Woosh Fairy has visited Lafayette. I lost 3.6 pounds and I only have .6 pounds left to lose to get to goal. Never thought this would happen. If you are just getting on the plan, I can honestly say this diet is very strict but one of the easiest diets I have ever been on. With other diets, I had not seen the results that I have seen on Ideal Protein. It does work, but you can't cheat.

Do you guys really think it would hurt me if I didn't eat romaine lettuce? I just am nooot enjoying the taste of it. Another con is that it doesn't stay good a whole week and I can only go shopping at the beginning of the week or when my mom goes. I saw someone say it was more to keep you regular; is there some sort of . . . . romaine substitute I can do? Or just cut it out altogether?
