This may sound crazy but this is day 2 and I can tell that I'm already feeling it, by that I mean that my pants are less tight and digestion is already better. No headaches, no hunger, so all is good

BTW I have a question about the all you can eat lettuce, would that be all kinds, like Iceberg, Red Leaf, Romaine ect... or just the Iceberg.

Everyone keeps talking about having bad breath. I don;t have bad breath. Does that mean i'm not in ketosis? It's day 11 for me.

The lettuce that's all you can eat are iceberg and and romaine.

Hi! Well, I am starting day three & so far so good! Other than some hunger pangs I seem to be free of any side effect, thank goodness! Although I do wonder if I am In Ketosis yet, I don't seem to have gotten the bad breath that I keep hearing about. I hope you all have a successful day OP!

There are a multitude of sugar free and alcohol free cough syrups out there. Ask your pharmacist if what you were prescribed is available in a sugar/alcohol free formulation, if not, ask her (or him) to call your doc with some recommendations and have it changed. Personally I stick with strictly romaine. Iceberg has absolutely no benefits to you whatsoever but the romaine has nutrients and vitamins that are key to your overall health. Iceberg is basically water. Just my two cents.

Some people have bad breath in ketosis, some people don't. I don't...at least my VIP and my BFF said I don't. There are many signs of ketosis, if you're following the program, you're in it. Don't worry to much about it....follow the program the weight will come off.

For those of you who are weighing in daily....I did that and it was a vicious cycle of "HOW COME IT'S NOT MORE". So if you are in that cycle, please think about putting your scale away as the stress of that cycle can help you keep the weight on!! I've had my scale put away within the first 6-8 weeks of the program, my VIP took it to his house and hid it away (for a while it was in his trunk lol). It's liberating and so much less stressful.

Remember "it doesn't matter what the scale says, it isn't going to change what I do tomorrow". Your weight didn't happen over night, it will not be gone over night...I won't meet my goal this week or even next week so no matter what the scale says, I'll still be plugging away!

I've never had bad breath on this diet, but I also drink 12 cups of water a day. I think that might be the reason? not sure, but I'm happy without the bad breath
