Default Does this sound okay to eat?

I'm going to a restaurant tonight, the first non-Steak house non-Chinese (which was a disaster).

Do you think this sounds okay?

Halibut--
All fish are cut in-house and available pan-seared or grilled with extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon and sea salt. Served with parmesan mashed potatoes, rice pilaf or steamed asparagus.

Obviously, I will not have the mashed potatoes and rice. Do you think the prep of the fish sounds okay?

And to be sure they don't put anything like butter on the steamed veggies. I have learned the hard way that often when restaurants around here advertise "steamed veggies", they steam them, then dump butter on them!

The halibut sounds perfect! And yes, make sure you specify NO BUTTER on the steamed veggies. Maybe even ask if you can get a small plain salad with cucumbers and tomato (remember you CAN have tomato, 1 cup twice a week) with no dressing since you are skipping the potatoes too. I always tell my server Dairy-free and Gluten-Free, it keeps them from accidentally throwing cheese or butter on something

Sounds so good !!!!

Nolawhodatchick ...You're so right about the steam veggies. Have you ever got the cross eyed look when you just ask them for steam vegetables with nothing... no salt,no butter on them ??
