So excited to be here! I start IP January 2. This site is soooo helpful and informative. On vacation now, getting some much needed rest. Products were delivered already, and plans are in place!! I have 40 lbs to lose. Thanks for a great website - I will be on it regularly!

Hello all.......I have to say, I am setting my 'brain' into a mode that I am very excited about getting back on track... TOM is visiting...and I know by past experience, that plays a numbers game.... plus the holidays, irish creme, red wine etc......sigh...such is life.... to not lose total control of our eating habits will be a life long challenge...but so worth it. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Years, and that 2012 will be the best yet!

I am still cooking like crazy, Brandon is leaving to go back to college on Friday classes start on Monday. He will have the weekend to get set up for the next semester that way. He said he must of gained all the weight I loss while he was here though....lol...He said when he starts back up in the gym next week he will lose it though. I have been cooking a lot of cabbage, showing him different ways to cook it and he said he will do that when he get up there(yea right).....lol

Mom is doing well, she is staying between 145-150, she weighs herself daily and if she gets to that 150 she is back on phase 1.....lol...We went shopping in her closet for me when I was there over Christmas. I am fitting in the clothes she wore when she started, so I now have a few shirts to wear for the winter. Not that we will have much of one though its back in the 70's today!!

I like that "goal goal". Is it weird to not have a poundage goal? I'm looking to stay OP for 3 months so that my next bloodwork will be significantly better than the last 5 years. Lower blood sugar, lower cholesterol, and to top it off, lower weight! For me it's endurance, not pounds, although 16 pounds in 3 weeks is a nice bonus!

My goal goal would be to lose 60 pounds, but I don't want to set myself up for another "diet failure" if I don't make it. So I'm going for time instead. That's measurable and reachable.

I have been unable to get on this site, not even read this week as it has been so busy. I had to WI at home today as my coach is on holidays and I'm down 3.2lbs
Tomorrow is our daughter's Sweet 16th and we will be surrounded by food (again). I have stayed OP, no matter what anyone has offered me, nothing will shake me this year. It is so nice not to start this journey of weightloss on Jan 1st, instead I am already on my way down!
See you all in 2012!!

I would like to get to 200lbs, why? I don't know....guess I haven't been that size since high school. If I find that I look the way I want too before that then I will stop. When I hit 200lbs that will be 188lbs loss....almost HALF of my original weight. I already don't look like myself in some aspects so we will see what the next 4 months bring

Had weigh in #2 today, down another 2 pounds. Of coarse if I hadn't of cheated over christmas, (cheesecake, butter tars, mashed potatoes and gravy and dressing) oh but it tasted so good lol.....my weight loss would have been more. Guess should be thankful I didn't gain. But am back on track and OP. So can't wait to see what my next loss is. Hope everyone had a great holiday over Christmas and I wish you all the best in the New Year, here is to all of us for a healthier New Year and our new figures

Just came back from my weigh in. Another 6.4 lost over the holidays!! Total of 21.4! This was a two week weigh in due to coach being gone. Pretty proud of myself especially when she mentioned that most others at the clinic went off the plan for the holidays. This is just more motivation to keep on going.

Wuv- your stats are out of this world. It sure motivates me with having over 100#lbs to lose. So does everyone else's stats. In fact there are so many people on this board that are so helpful and motivating just by reading these threads. Thanks to everyone.
Happy New Year, New You.

I just started IP Alternative on Monday. I couldn't have done it without all of the information everyone has shared. THANK YOU! The support in this forum is amazing and between the support here and the support of my girlfriends also going OP I know I can do it!
