slowing down
I have never been a "big loser" at weigh-ins. Typically, 1.5 to 2 lbs a week. the last 2 week have been much slower, my last weigh-in was .5 lb I was so disappointed and I was told the last 25% can be tough.
On a whim I asked to be re-measured. Typically I am measured every other week, and was measured last week. Much to my surprise while I only lost .5 lb, I lost 1" in my waist in 1 week!! WOW!

SEEE....its NOT all about the numbers on that scale that everyone is obsessed about!!.....1 in loss on your waist in one week is incredible!!.....From looking at your stats you don't have very much left to go so your losses will become very small. Stay strong, you will get there!!!

My losses have been slow too the past month or so. Just keep trucking and it will happen in time.

I went onto maintenance a month ago and my weight loss slowed way down (as expected). I have gone down a complete size though since phasing off. It takes the skin a while to shrink when we lose weight so fast on IP.
Looks like you are down to your last 10 lbs. Those are the hardest, but it will happen!

I am with you. I had my WI today and lost 1lb. I will be honest, I was bummed. 145 is a mini goal for myself and I can't seem to get there. UGH! I really really really want to be at goal by the time I take my daughter to NYC for Christmas...1 lb a week will not get me there. I still have 16 lbs to go...if any one has any ideas for revving things up, I would love to hear!
Thanks!

Do you realize you are losing 2.7lbs a week....that is NOTHING to be bummed about. Are you drinking LOTS of water? getting all your veggies? all your protein?

I am wondering about upping my water. I have been drinking between 100-110 oz. Should it be higher? Also this week I did have the IP Cereal pancakes 3 times...is that too many considering there is extra protein in the egg whites?
Wuv, I swear you are like everyone's mom on here! I love it that when I post...especially when I need encouragement, you are there responding!!!
I have had an injury so haven't been able to do much exercise but am thinking about starting Slim in 6. It is cardio, stretching, lunges, etc. The program calls for 6 days a week, but my coach thought 3-4 would be better.
It is so hard to know what to do. I want to do the right things so I can get to my goal as quickly as possible!!!

Thanks for all of your support. I'm cool here, it will take as much time as it takes. I took a long time to get it there. I am working on my alternative turkey day stuff rather than stressing on slow losses.

My coach said the extra protein in the eggs whites is a big advantage to you. It is pure protein with very low calories. She encourged having the "extra" egg whites everyday.

You are doing great. You don't say how tall you are but going from the 160s to the 120s must make an incredible difference to your body.
Good approach to Thanksgiving too. Keep it up, you are well on your way to your goal.

I would start the exercising. I started about 8 weeks ago and have seen a difference in my body shape. I think my numbers on the scale slowed a bit but i think i was gaining muscle. Start easy though as your coach suggested, as you dont want to burn muscle and not burn fat. I dont know what your injury is, but only if you dont further injure yourself. Even start stretching or just walking if it doesnt affect your injury. My coach says never to exceed 30 min of cardio.
