I am happy to hear that everyone did well with the best c$%^dy day of the year! I had my kids hide all their treats from last night. I felt this way it would be easier, it was hard enough for me to go through it all to make sure it was all packaged correctly . I am going out of town for two weeks starting on Sunday and I am already starting to plan. One week is for training for work, and another visiting my parents! I am going to bring all my proteins, hit the grocery store and pack my lunch for the training. Dinner doesn’t scare me as much as lunch. Congratulations to all that had WI today and had loses that awesome!!!!

Love the date today and my friend is having her baby today. I am at a standstill this week with weight, I switch to phase 3 on friday and I am a little nervous. I will do phase 3 for 2 full weeks and then on to phase 4. I will start up with phase 1 the first of the year to take off the last 20 lbs. I have started a little more exercise and it feels good. Happy Nov. 1st and brace yourself for the holidays and winter, it is already cold here!

Wuv, I didn't see anything yesterday from Itsaboutime, hope all is well.
Thanks Bella - keep us posted on Phase 3 - it's a little overwhelming with all the food for breakfast. I'm thinking I'll need to get up an hour earlier just to eat

Another week, 1 lb own. TOM is knocking at the door, so I guess I should be thankful for any loss this week.

Spending tonight cooking for a friend who died's family. He was just 41-years-old and the picture of health. He had an undiagnosed enlarged heart.

Making butternut squash soup, corn muffins, a big salad and brown sugar shortbreads (for his 3 & 5 year olds).

Sad.

I've been "off program" for 4 vacations since January. My advice is to try to avoid the carbs and go ahead on the few rums. You don't need to go crazy, I'm sure they'll have some healthy options to enjoy! My recent trip to Scotland was on a bus tour with most meals included, and believe me, they are not big veggie/salad eaters over there. I did indulge in a fair amount of wine and came home 9 pounds heavier. Wouldn't have missed any of it for the world. I did skip the bread and potatoes most of the time, but relished all the local foods. My first week back, I've dropped 4 of the 9, and looking forward to dropping the rest over the next couple of weeks.

Bottom line is that I enjoyed myself, having made the decision to do it without guilt. You simply must decide ahead to get right back on track when you get home. My first holiday was 5 weeks into IP, gained 5 pounds, but I was down 16 already - 16 I wouldn't have been had I put off the program. That 5 disappeared in the week I got home. It's tough to get back on, but you're doing this for you, right????

Default Choc shake

Someone asked about the chocolate shake I miked with hot water, yes it was a little lumpy but didnt bother me. Definitely better to mix cold water with shake then heat up but I dont have a microwave in the hotel I am staying in.

I am going to see where I am when I get home in regards to weight loss before I decide to move to phase 3. I was just really hoping to be in maintenance by thanksgiving so I could indulge a little and have some wine with dinner. And I just realized to be in maintenance by thanksgiving means I need to move to phase 3 by next Wednesday.

Rainbowmom, I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. What a terrible blow to his young family to lose him so suddenly at his age.
