Wow, is nobody on this morning, thanks for starting the thread, i was looking for it hours ago and didn't know how to get one started.

I wanted to ask, i bought some fondue beef for dinner (i use it to make submarines) and i was wondering if it would be ok for me to have, i'm assuming its ok as its beef and 8oz of it is probably a lot as its really thin but i wanted to make sure.

Have a good day everyone

Why would it not be okay? I don't know the difference between fondue meat and other meat. Is it fattier?

I am no expert, but I say -- enjoy!

Good morning all!

Tomorrow is my "official" weigh in day (it's in quotes, because I'm doing alternatives, so I don't go anywhere to weigh in), but I'm down 2 lbs today. That means I'm almost to the halfway point in the weight loss part of this journey.

Yesterday started as a skinny day, but ended as a hungry day and I had 2 restricteds. I don't think I've been consuming enough calories and I think my body just needed more. There was no amount of lettuce, pudding or cappuccino drink that was going to make things right.

Anyway, back into the routine today. Sick kiddo, work, sticking to plan.

Happy Monday!

Good morning! I had to come and tell you about an NSV I came across yesterday. I have always been one who lied on my drivers license about weight. It's been at 160 on there for years but I've never been 160 in my driving years I'm positive! I started with 135 at age 14 and pushed it to a more "realistic" lie when I turned 18. Well, I have now gone under my drivers license weight. It is not due to be renewed until 2013 but I just might have to get a new one come goal. I can't be having people think I weigh more than I do when I'm actually at a weight I'm not ashamed to print on there.

Do you btw know what are the numbers of calories, fat, carbs and protein on Ip. I'm doing this with alternatives as well and never knew the numbers

Good Morning all!

2ride, your updated pic is fantastic, you look like a different person. You are really working the program.

Where is Wuv? I am worried, she is always on here by now!

I snuck a peek this am and I am down and don't weigh in until friday. Of course, I have been down before early in the week and for whatever reason, up by friday. I am seeing the losses in my clothes for sure. LOVE IT! I took a bunch of clothes to my sister yesterday, which she really appreciated.

Out with a girlfriend for lunch today, as she starts a new job tomorrow!

Have a great day and will check in later to get the updates.

Happy Monday all! Its a cold, rainy day here, already resisting the urge for peppermint hot chocolate. I weighed in at 122 today, 9 pounds away from my ultimate goal. I had a pretty good weekend and am looking forward to a good week!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Talk about a victory! I got a new license on Saturday and it felt AMAZING to lower the weight. I'd been lying about mine since my permit at 15. Congrats!!!

I think its actually leaner but its just cause i never heard of anyone eating it and i thought it was such a good idea as its so light so 8oz must be a ton, lol.

Hi there,

I am doing alternatives also, and I am attaching to you the IP nutritional info sheet that I always have with me in order to buy alternative products.

Good morning all... sorry I got the date wrong tried to correct but can't

So got up late today, dogs didn't get their usual walk, thank goodness my one dog woke me up... so running around getting lunch ready (only bad thing about phase 2 is you have to have something and not just a packet)getting dogs kongs ready for when I leave, fed cats, have to straighten my hair now with new haircut, grabbed a pair of pants to wear, stop dead too big, tried a few more same thing... couldn't find any smaller ones so put on the least baggy ones, which is a great feeling but man now I have to look for more clothes. So officially I am a size 8, I was teetering between 10s and 8s but now 10s tend to fall down. Day continued to have issues, I made some chokecherry syrup and chutney for some people at work, took that in today, one of the jars didn't seal, have a red stain all over my pants everything in my bag was covered... and my first day back after a week off. eeeek
Week is not going to get better, have 2 days at my office one day at another office and then off to Calgary for training for 2 days. Then the weekend am at a dog trial both days. Okay enough babbling.

WI # 35&36 (skipped last week holiday) should be interesting we will wait and see on the verdict.

Thanks Bella, that was the dress I wore to the Canines and Cocktail fundraiser on Friday. Nice to be able to wear a dress and it not look too bad. My friend is so kind and generous she gave me that dress, did the makeup and was very excited for me. We had a great time at the event too, was a little worried about the dinner but it was roast beef and there were some veggies I could eat. How much better can it get pets dogs and cats and silent auction. Some real sad stories though. There is this beautiful lab mix that was found with a bag over its head and someone had beat it with something and now it has two hole in her mouth, she can't eat the normal way and when she sniffs her nose does this cute little thing, but she is going to have issues all her life. just makes you so sad to see all these beautiful animals and they are all so happy to see someone and to know that they came from a bad place just rips a hole in my heart.

Lady - have you tried chocolate chai tea and peppermint extract? That is what I have been drinking since my coach said no splenda this week... two brands I found... president's choice chocolaty chai tea (my fave) and tetley's dark chocolate chai tea (still tastes like tetley).

Its about time - i did the same thing but I got my driver's license renewed and am proud to say I am under my weight now too... and my pic looks way better.

Have a great day all, welcome newcomers, congrats on NSVs and SVs..

Good morning everyone! I'm laughing about the drivers license weight issue. When we lived in CA I lied forever about my weight on my license, but here in TX they don't put your weight on the license. Kind of disappointed because when I finally get down lower than my CA license weight I won't have that chance now to change it on my TX license. OH well.

Another beautiful warm day here in Austin. Just busy driving kids around and husband to the airport. I did get some potentially bad news yesterday about a family member, so I'm stressed about that, but not turning to food as I would have in the past. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all! I just realized I haven't been on the boards since our Thursday WI!

My fiance is now down over 17 pounds in two weeks! I lost another 4.8 which makes 12.6 in two weeks. We are so thrilled! My home scale actually showed another good loss when I stepped on yesterday morning. I haven't seen the 220's in a couple of years!

I think it is now time to go through my shelf of pants and try on the next size down. My work pants this morning are really baggy and are looking sloppy.

I can't wait until I have to get my new license with my new married name and can actually be honest and proud of my number!

Have a great day everyone!
