want to start... where can I order in Canada?
Hi everyone!
I have been researching IP and have decided I want to do it. Can I order products online if there is no clinic for me to go to where I live?
Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated!
thank you,
Sara

www.idealtogo.com is where you can go when there isn't a clinic near you and you can order products for them. I am not quiet sure of the system that way. Maybe someone else can chime in here
Did you call the number on the www.idealprotein.com website? there was no clinic listed in my area but when I called there was one, so you might want to try it. I don't know if it works the same there as in the states.

What province do you live in? Are you near a big city?
Pop in your postal code on the ideal protein website and it will give you the nearest location.
Great choice! Welcome

I am doing the protocol through a company called Matol in Canada and am really happy with the results. If you want to send you a message I can connect you with my coach and she will likely know someone in your area.

no, I am no where near a big city.... live in northern BC in a remote community
I sure hope I can order off of the internet... it would be very disappointing if I can't!

It is a bit complicated to figure out at first but some people on here have done well by not going to a clinic at all. If the Matol suggestion doesn't work out you can order similiar products online in Canada. If you are in a very remote area that may be the way you have to do it. Check back if you can't make a connection with a clinic.

I concur - very disappointed, but they don't ship to Canada. Lots of folks are doing "IP" with alternative products. I'd suggest if you can't find a clinic or get one in Canada to ship to you, you go that route. If you decide on that, lowcarbgrocery.com is in Ontario and I order from them all the time. Nashua Nutrution is out of the States and the shipping costs are more, but they have chocolate soy puffs, and caramel nut bars etc., that are identical to IP products. I have seen my coach once since the summer (hubby picks up my food for me) and to be honest, the coaching, knowledge and motivation on these boards are far above anything I got at the clinic.

I order from Proteinwell.ca. It has free shipping for orders over $100.But first you have to study the protocol sheet for phase 1. The links from the sheets are at the beginning of the daily chat threads.

I am using ProtiDiet products and get them from proteinwell.ca
it is going well so far... today was my 4th weigh in and I have lost 17 lbs
I am going to Alberta for some shopping so I am going to pick up some Premier Nutrition shakes from Costco and see what they have for bars.

From what I could figure out the best option from Costco was the detour bars. They all were quite high in calories, Detour was lower (but more than IP). they are the lowest is carbs though.
But on another thread today there is a lot about alternative bars. They are saying there are good ones at Superstore and at Walmart with fewer calories. One I remember is called Oh Yeah. Ill check the tread again before I go shopping.

Get a couple cases of the Premier Nutrition shakes from Costco, they are thick and rich and very YUMMY! I buy ProtiDiet as well, have ordered from both Nashua and proteinwell. I'm from small town Sask. I have ordered the DaVinci flavour syrups from low carb grocery online, but they don't ship out of Ontario after November due to freezing. So now, I have to find another source for these yummy syrups. If you're going to hit Walmart, pick up some Pure Protein bars - the yellow package, peanut butter ones are superb! The detour bars are gross to me! I freeze the bars, thaw very slightly and nibble on one with a hot cup of tea for bedtime snack!
