Default New Alternative food find.

I am starting over using alternatives tomorrow. "Real" IP became too expensive and I kept cheating too much. I am weaning myself off of caffiene again today and got all of my junk food cravings out again. I am craving "good for you" foods.

But I did buy a bunch of the New Lifestyles Chocolate RTDs. Those were the only IP items I ever ordered anyways. We weren't allowed bars at all in Phase 1, 2 or 3.

I found an alternative bar that I love. They are called Quest Bars. The shipping on their website seems a lot more reasonable then Lindora or New Lifestyles. I have tried the chocolate, pb, mixed berry and apple pie. I just ordered a big box of each today. They do have splenda in them.

Hello,

I found the cheapest bar at Costco, they are called Detour and they come in a pack of different flavours, they are slightly higher in calories and carb than IP but I use them as restricted and it is working well since I am still losing weight.

I love these. I cut then in little pieces and then freeze them - just like candy!!!

This should give you a good idea of what alternatives you can/can't have.

May I also suggest Pure Protein High Protein Bars from Amazon.
They are much cheaper than the quest bars etc.
They are currently out of stock right now, but they keep putting them on sale.
I have some on the way, I got 2 - 6 packs for $9 delivered. The chocolate peanut butter are pretty dang good.

The chocolate ones weren't bad either, I think they were 2 - 6 packs for $10.
Just watch for them to go on sale again, twice in the last 2 weeks.

nashua nutrition has some good products, it's the cost that gets you with IP when you are on it for awhile.

Try the marshmallow chocolate cookie bar. It's a real nice treat if you are a dessert lover.
