Default Weighing meat

I prefer a scale because it seems like I get more. But do we weigh from cooked or raw?

Uh oh, I've always measured from cooked. Is that wrong?

I'm not sure about IP in specific, but I actually saw on a package of chicken breasts the other day the following: serving size 4 oz raw, 3 oz cooked. I always thought a standard serving of chicken was 4 oz cooked. From now on I always measure my meats raw since I'm calorie counting and don't wanna make a big mistake going over!

I was told to weight them raw. I also know that the right serving size is about the size of a deck of cards for when I don't have scale to use.

This was the first question I asked my coach when I started as all diets do it differently. She said raw.
