Default question about diet pop or energy drinks.

I was just wondering if it is okay to drink maybe a diet soda now and then or a sugar free energy drink. Sometimes I need a little kick in the mornings and I don't drink coffee or tea. My coach had diet pop on the restricted and I haven't had my first weigh-in yet to ask her. I don't want to do it if it will decrease my weight loss so any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

I used to drink a diet pop a day but I have cut back to 1 a week. The doctor said I should be ok. I am not sure if that help you or not.

My coach said absolutly no carbonated anything. It has to do with the acid that is formed from the carbonation that affects the buffering process in your body. It can slow down ketosis. Especially brown sodas.

I have had a few sugar free Rockstars or Monster Rehab. The monster in noncarbonated.

I seem to be losing at the same rate.
