Does adding heat to packets alter the protein?

I am a little concerned this week as I gained one pound (week 5). I was perfectly OP. I had a capachino packet every morning which I heated and topped off with coffee. At lunch every day I had my salad with veggies but made the pudding cakes every day. Do you think this had anything to do with my weight gain?

Heat affects fats when using them for cooking, but I have never heard anything about proteins being altered through heat.

I think it looks somewhat normal to stall or we even gain some weeks; I know I have, and my coach stayed at the same weight for 3 weeks and lost two clothing sizes.
It's VERY frustrating when you work so hard to stay OP. I think you're doing it right and woudlnt' worry about the heat, just stay OP and you'll get there like the rest of us.

No no no... Many people do the same thing and many people have a stall or slight gain and the next week they have a big loss. You will see that posted over and over and over and over in these threads. Heating the packets has nothing to do with weight loss!
