Has anyone used 2 packets at the same time?

  • I got a little crazy, made chocolate pudding cake and THEN...made vanilla cinnamon pudding and wow, was that an awesome combo. but, it's an awful lot of protein at one time. Not sure about the spacing. I did eat a double pudding my second week on IP twice and still lost, so...maybe it's okay. When I told my coach this, she looked very shocked but, well, anyone else?
  • I have combined them before, but I always just eat half so that I am still only getting one packet. If it is the flavor combination that you are enjoying, I think it is fine to mix two and just eat half. If you are eating them both because you are hungry and one isn't enough, I would say that is probably not OP and suggest that you have just the one packet and a big salad or something instead to fill you up.
  • Nope.
  • Yes...I find the "full" mark to be too little sometimes even with a large salad or all my veggies. I guess I am really out there on this one and have to pull in the leash.
    Thanks for replying!
  • how did you make your vanilla cinnamon cake?

Well, what I did was make a typical chocolate pudding cake (dark choc pudding IP packet, 2 oz water, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp vanilla, and one egg white: blended well and split batter in two small baking dishes, bake 15 to 17 minutes).
THEN...I mixed up a vanilla pudding packet, with alot of cinnamon and some splenda/xylitol.

I used the vanilla pudding as a dip for the cake. It was great, but I need to do what Princess Jssica suggests and NOT eat it all at once, but in half. Not so easy to stop, but...that's what got me fat.

Oh yummy! (New here and I obviously haven't finished weeding my way through the recipe archives.) At what temp do you cook it?

I have put two things together but then I do just try to have half. I have done the Orange Dreamsicles: 1 Vanilla pudding + 1 Orange Drink makes 6 frozen popsicles so I can have 3 one day and 3 another day but I tell you what when I mix that up I could drink the whole thing in one shot like a big Orange Julias!!

Orrrr I just thought of this maybe you could dip it in one of the Walden Farms things instead. Is the marshmallow dip any good?
  • i have eaten two in one sitting..aka: chicken noodle soup packet and 1 pudding packet in one meal..However... i find that 30 grams of protein is a bit much..and ive actually heard that 25 grams of protein is usually the max amount of protein are body can readily use in a sitting..so it doesnt really benefit you much to do that..but i was starving so i did it today..
  • I dont know about using 2 packs at the same time, but i would go with the idea of eating half and keeping the other half for later.

But for me, is having more of a pack with lean protein. Exemple, having a chicken breast with half of a cheddar brocoli soup mix but reduced the water so i would make more of a sauce. Or having some beef stew cube and veggies, mix in a mushroom soup mix. Again with less amount of water then usual and make it more as a sauce.

I will try to experiment and see how it works but its the serving thats giving me hard time, it's pretty much impossible to mesure.
