Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
You have the right attitude and that's what matters most. Stick to the IP diet (aka being OP-on program). This is a NO CHEAT way of life and there are phases that YOU must adhere to. You will be in Phase 1 until you loose 80 to 90% of your goal so don't worry yourself at the moment with anything other than getting through the first week successfully....then, the second week, etc. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site and positive, compasionate people willing to help you. We have all been RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE NOW.

Stay POSITIVE, DO NOT CHEAT and know that you have made the right choice.

Today is day one for me. Had my shakes this am. Plan a shake for lunch with salad and steak and broccoli for supper. Of course lots of water. I can't wait till my shorts feel loose instead of tight.

There's a thread from yesterday but I used Jordanna's recipe. Here you go.

Ingredients:

5 oz Extra Lean Ground Beef
1/4 c finely chopped onion
1/4 c finely chopped dill pickles
3/4 c finely shredded iceberg lettuce
1 - 2 tbsp WF Thousand Island Dressing
1 oz Low Fat Cheddar

Directions:

Cook up extra lean ground beef, drain fat and return to pan and add seasonings of choice (I used garlic powder, onion powder, Mrs. Dash, salt & pepper).

Remove beef from heat & mix in WF Thousand Island Dressing, pickles & onion

Spread lettuce on plate, add beef mixture on top, sprinkle with cheese.

Enjoy!

Here is a low carb Thousand Island Recipe if needed:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar free ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons Splenda
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon white onion, finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon salt
dash pepper

**mix all ingredients in a bowl & refrigerate for an hour

Hahaha I'm addicted as well! I eat it at least once a week, especially if I'm making burgers for the rest of the family - I don't feel left out!

Yes! We were talking about that last night as well. Its nice to have an alternative when that burger craving hits. Yet another recipe I will use long after I have reached my IP goals.

I didn't use cheese as I didn't think we were allowed it. It still tasted awesome!

I don't think we can have cheese. I don't make it with cheese anyway. That's teh one thing I've been craving so if I'm wrong let me know.

My coach has always said if you don't use milk in your coffee, an oz of low fat cheese once in a while isn't a big deal...sometimes I put cheese on it, sometimes I don't but it's delicious every time

Are you kidding me? I haven't had anything dairy since I started because I didn't think we could. (I use a shake in my coffee so I didn't need milk.) I'm not sure I can stop at 1oz though, that's the trouble.
