Can we have Zevia on Phase 1?
It has zero net carbs, zero fat, zero calories and is made with stevia. It comes in twelve flavors and is available on Amazon.com
sure haha. but I DO know thatwe can have stevia, so if the carbonation is a go, then these seems like they would be fine! as long as theres no sodium too!
As far as the information I've been told, as long as it is Zero Carbs, Fat, and Calories, and uses Stevia or splendia you are allowed. My coach told me I was allowed to have Coub Sida on this diet, so the carbonatin thing should be ok.
DON'T DO IT! it is disgusting. it has an awful aftertaste. it is full of sugar alcohol, and it WILL give you diarrhea. if you really need soda, i suggest buying sparkling water or club soda and adding Mio. This is a yummy soda alternative with no sugar alcohol (so no diarrhea!).
I am not going to try it.
I am sticking with water. I miss my Diet Coke but I am surviving.
Thank you for the info longdivision.
I am doing Bootcamp and it kick started me into losing again. 2 pounds this weekend. Hopefully, a few more before WI on Thurday.
Have you ever seen the IP videos? I get them through my coach.
There was a video on Zevia. It said that it is fine to drink Zevia occasionally. I drank it a few times and each time I did, my weight loss stalled. It didn't work for my body, but it might be worth a try if you crave soda once in a while

I recently saw that video too. I like the Mio idea, though I use it in plain water, not carbonated.
Oh Gosh, I wish I could find the article I read about sucralose, the main sweetener in Mio. To make a very long story short, a woman with severe joint pain and disease who was wheel chair bound gave up all products, including Mio, that had sucralose and was walking again after the chemicals left her system. I was a Mio junkie and after giving it up I noticed the pain and stiffness in my hands went away.
Obviously it won't affect everyone the same way, but I caution you to watch the amount of sucralose in your diet and if you are having joint pain try stopping the sucralose products and see if that helps.
PS>>> I am a Zevia fan. No trouble with diarrhea, and don't find it has a bitter aftertaste. Here again, everyone is different with different tastes an tolerances for what is bitter, sweet, etc.....
