Don't worry. I am at 4 weeks with only 10lbs. So you are not alone! Wish I could have lost more, but if I can loose 20 lbs in the two months I have before my wedding dress fittings, I will be happy. Check your inches. Are you smaller?
I am feeling smaller today. My skirt is fitting looser and I have droped between .4 lbs and 1 lbs every day this week. I am begining to think that on my old diet I was feeling bloated all the time and now I don't feel it at all because of all the good foods I eat. Nothing to make me feel bloated at all. Am I crazy to feel smaller? Friends say they can tell a difference, but I don't see it, I just feel better.
This week I am on an adventure to try every bar that IP makes. Yesterday was vanilla Peanut and it was very good. Carmel Nut is still my favorite, but the Vanilla peanut was bigger and lasted longer. Next up Cran Granata!

We are going to Massachussetts, which is a 14 hour drive with all four kids Should be fun. Actually my kids are good in the car. I'm the one that gets bored, since I don't have a DS, or movies to watch while driving..LoL.
I have celery ready to be chopped, and am bringing some cucumbers and a peeler. I'll buy more veggies while I'm out there. Gonna be doing Phase 1, since it is fairly easy to do for me. The only day that I'm worried about is Saturday.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I will not have my computer with me enjoy yourselves. I know I will be .

Have a great vacation in MASS, that's where I live and we are looking at some stellar weather for the holiday weekend!!!

Good morning all! DAy ten for me! Tomorrow I weigh in for another diet group challenge I'm in and I am in the running to win $200! (We each put $20 in the pot) So, I need your advice, should I try to hold back on guzzling water today, or what do you suggest I eat for this last day of the contest? Thanks for any suggestions. And yes, I am a little constipated!

if you aren't losing quickly try cutting back on the restricted bars, etc. I know this made a difference for me. Maybe have them 2 or 3 times a week instead of regularly. You could also up your water intake.

10 lbs in 3 weeks? I think that is amazing! I was doing boot camp 4 days a week and running twice a week, all while eating extremely clean and lost 15 lbs in 6 months! Dont get down, 10 lbs is impressive.

Good morning. This is TMI, but I am constipated. My coach has said to take 1 TBS of citrate of magnesium (I think that was the name) in the morning and 2 T at night. That wasn't working, so she said to take 5000 mg of Vit C. That wasn't working. So last night, I tried the salt water flush, and that didn't work either. So today, I took some stool softeners. Hopefully that works. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I was up about 3 lbs this morning, but I have a feeling that was from all the sea salt.

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is the last workday before we head into a long weekend here.
Last night, I had a restaurant dinner with the ladies from my tap class. I ended up ordering a salad with lobster on it and it was very nice... but I wanted to share a "tip" or sorts: just before dessert, which I was seriously debating whether I should have or not (as I am on phase IV but this was not my "cheat day"), I had to go to bathroom. The washrooms had mouthwash in them (in bottles with pumps) with paper cups... I rinsed my mouth with Scope Outlast and all desires for dessert vanished! I sat and sipped on a peppermint tea while others indulged and I really did not feel like I was missing out on anything! ...so, I am going to be putting a miniature bottle of mouthwash in my purse very soon and excusing myself before dessert on many occasions!

I just picked up my first week of IP. I have to admit Im a little concerned as all the packets are so small. If Im going to be hungry all the time, Im not sure if I'll be able to stay the course. My coach isn't very helpful, she just gave me my first weeks supplies and a sheet on Phase 1. Can I split the 4 cups of veggies between breakfast, lunch and supper. Also can I use any salad dressing? Does anyone have any ideas for what a day of IP eating looks like?

You can split up your veggies. The only dressings you can have must be no carbs, fat, no sugar, many people use Walden Farms dressings because they are all 0's.

Congrats on your first day! I like to make a salad dressing of 1 tsp. EVOO and some apple cider vinegar, stevia, a little sea salt and chopped green onion. It tastes so good on my romaine lettuce. Also those little packets fill you up! I have not been hungry at all and I am on day ten.

Good morning all
pselias is so right that is 3.3 lbs a week that is great....
pxlkitty what good advise you have for us all the time. Thanks for opening the thread today... You will be in the 150s in a moment.. great job.
Minewgoal - have a good trip... you may have to count cars to keep yourself occupied while driving... no swerving though.... Have a great and safe holiday weekend.
Ishbel - so I know I said I wouldn't weigh myself at home, and kind of made a pak with you not to... Thursday use to be my usual weigh in so I couldn't resist this morning when I put on my size 12 Jeans and found them quite loose.
So the good news is I am back where I was before my +4lb gain and now I am going to be extra good until Monday afternoon for my wi #20... Can't believe it is 20 weeks already. Time flies.
NSV today I tried on a tank I had purchased too small and thought by the end of the summer I could wear it. I was so excited today, I tried it on to see and it fit so I am wearing it today... It makes me feel girly as it has flowers and stuff on it and cute little buttons...
Everyone have a great and Safe Holiday weekend. Enjoy the holiday your friends and just being.
