Question Water question.

I will ask my coach about this when I meet with her tomorrow also. But she said I should drink 64 to 80 oz of water per day. There has been several days that I have drank over 80 oz. I can drink at least 64 oz of water at work and then extra at home. Has anyone else heard of a 80 oz cap on water?

Some drink as much as 1/2 the weight in water so if your 200lbs you can drink 100 oz. I am thinking at your weight 80 oz is probably enough. I understand you can get water poisoning if you drink too much water, but am not sure at the amount. You could try googling it.

Default No Caps!!!

I haven't really heard of a cap on water. I can easily drink 100 oz on a good day. I also read somewhere that the body can safety process 4 gallons of water before it would start to dilute the good stuff and overload the kidneys. It's good for your urine to be clear, or almost clear! Water is the only thing that will make that happen. Water is great, and large amounts, within reason, shouldn't be a problem. Drink up!
