Ok I have been tracking my weight daily since Monday, I know I shoouldn't, but I am excited!
So Tues, Wed, and this morning my weight loss has been exactly 0.2lbs. Is this normal? shouldn't I be losing more?
I am getting all my IP's in, all veggies, oil, salt. I was having some issues with lightheadness, dizziness and thank you to Showgirlz she has given me great suggestions that I am trying today until my weigh in, which is Monday.
I would say yes a little lol I weighed myself every day for the first week on the program and then stopped because 1. its depressing if you don;t see the scale go down and 2. your scale is different to the one at your weigh in, so now I just wait until weigh in day and then do the happy dance there
Ha Ha Ha! But my scale shows a better weight loss then my coaches! LOL
She just uses a regular digital scale, and it's on a carpeted area..so I don't really trust her scale!
Shouldn't I be losing more weight though?? I thought 3-4 pounds a week? If I am doing 0.2lbs per day thats only a 1.4 weekly weight loss..... and according to her scale Monday I lost 1.8 pounds which is 0.25 pounds per day, but my scale showed a 3 pound loss. ughh!

You shouldn't be discouraged if you don't see the scale move significantly...that's why you shouldn't weigh every day, as hard as that sounds. Just follow the program and you WILL see losses. Sometimes it's on the scale, and sometimes it's in inches
I have to say- only weigh daily if you can do it without freaking out. It takes a lot of deprogramming and self talk. The scale is only one tool used to measure progress- not the be all and end all! .2 of a lb per day is fine. Trust the process and let it take the time it requires.
I love weighing daily it's a constant reminder of how far I have come. Don't get me wrong there are days that I wasn't happy with but that comes with the territory, just don't freak out.
You will not lose 3-6 pounds every week.
You will have small weeks, and you may have big weeks. It's an average that ppl Can lose. Some ppl are slower losers then others. The point is...the weight comes OFF!!!
I m not on IP, buti wanna say that for me at least, the weight loss is more visible at the end of my week, with only small losses in between.
I agree with this 100% I weigh myself daily, not as an obsessive thing, but for the first time in my adult life I am finally not in the 200's anymore. So I weigh to make myself smile. My WI days are Sundays. I notice that the scale doesn't move much or at all from sun-thursday then forsome reason I will go on friday and be 2 lbs lighter, then again the next day I will lose.
Yes, you are obsessing. Like others will tell you, it's better to not weigh yourself, but just wait for your weekly weigh-in. I don't follow this to the t - there are days where I feel like I just have to check just to make sure I'm losing anything at all, but I remind myself not to worry if I haven't or if I haven't lost much because my scale is not nearly as sensitive as the one at my clinic.
Just trust in the program and know that even though you might not lose a lot every week (my last 4 weeks have been around 2 lb/week), you WILL lose.
hey phall8180 just noticed your in ct, me too! whereabouts? I'm in ledyard, close to mystic :0)
I'm in Windham. What center do you go to? I go to a place in Norwich. A friend of mine goes to one in Niantic, I am thinking about switching...not sure if I can??!
i weigh every morning, but i have learned to take what the scale says and just go on. i was freaking out really bad, but now i do not freak out. weighing daily helps me to stay focused. i just write down what i weigh every morning and i know how i do through the week. i think weighing daily depends on the person. i have leaned this week to "trust this diet". if you do everything on your end, you will lose, but my second and third wi were not that great, but i think the 3rd week is hard on alot from what i have read.
I go to Falk chiropractic in Groton on route 12, they're fabulous there, both the doctors and receptionists have been on the diet and lost over 100 lbs so they know what your going through, not sure if you can change either but you can always call them and say your not happy with your current place I don't see why they wouldn't let you.
