Great to hear from you. It is 58 degrees as I type. It is suppose to be in the70's Friday and the weekend, I hope it will be the high 70's. We have had a colder winter and more snow than usual. It has been a long winter for me. I know you are having a great time with your family, but I wish we both were in Hawaii right now basking in the sun. 2 bathing beauties! LOL. Just trying to give the chicks a laugh, at your expense. Stay warm till you are back in a warmer climate. Judy

No longer 300 something
Oh what a wonderful day. Lost 6 more lbs. Hope I never find those again. LOL. That makes a total of 38 in 8 weeks, that I will never, ever become friends with again. Now I am out of the 300's.

Yay you, too!!! Your post caught my eye because we are right at the same weight now, and I, too, never want to see the 300's again. We won't either, by golly, we just won't!

Good evening my IP friends! Haven't been on in a few days, trying to get caught up on all the happenings! Looks like there has been some good losses and NSV's plus it looks like everyone is in a real positive mood today!
My husband and I went to a local bar over the weekend, which we haven't done since I've been on IP. I was a little self conscious sitting there drinking my water. And it didn't take long for everyone to notice I was drinking water instead of normal bar drinks. Kinda embarrassing to explain to everyone that I was on a diet. I thought about telling them some other story but I'm not that creative, and everything I thought of sounded worse than the truth. I guess they'll get used to it.
Have a great evening everyone!

Just steamed up a bunch of broccoli to add to some chicken broth with a little cut up chicken in it. Not exactly op but I think pretty close. Hope everyone is staying healthy. Especially your little ones.

I'm hoping spring is here for reals things are melting and holy smokes do we have a LOT to melt this year so it better get cracking!

Linden, I have been on and off due to "life", but I always look for posts from you. I found some from you on the phase 2 thread, I think, the other day. Was gald to see you are still around since you were one of the first ones to reach out when I started here. I figured you had lost all your weight and moved on. Anyway how is your dad?
Love hearing the enthusiam from all the newbies and everyone. I find IP to be amazing and a process to a life style change. My doc was in the right place for me at the right time. Phew, I needed IP, and am glad to be here w/ all of you. Later, GO IRISH, HAPPY ST PATTYS DAY TO ALL

I KNOW I have gotten much more coaching from you all anyway!! Not gonna give up tho, will continue to plug away. I usually do WI on Tuesdays after work so I will do that tonight on my home scale. Thanks guys!!

Just popping in to say hello to everyone...even when I don't post for a day or 2, I'm still here checking and gathering inspiration from you all! My week 4 weigh in is Friday and I hope, hope, hope to be at or over the 20 lb. mark. I did find a pair of really nice pants in an 18 last night (from a 22) and marked down to 10 from 40 so BONUS! Bought them and felt SO GOOD about the fact that for the first time in years, I was able to go into and buy from a non "plus size" store and ENJOY myself!! Woohoo!! I realize that 18 is still considered "plus" however I haven't stepped into that particular store or even given it a second thought in FOREVER
Have a great OP day everyone!!

stacey- where did your beautiful avatar go? good job on your progress!

thats funny I went to an airport for an hour before I had to go downtown for training. one hour out to the airport and 45 minutes back to downtowon.. It sure was foggy this morning wasn't it. Suppose to be nice, so now we get to look forward to lots of mud and puddles.... I am hoping my dogs don't float down the street...
