If i get down on this program i know who to turn to....

I am a mom of 2 boys 19 and 23 along with all of their friends so yes I am always worrying and doing stuff for others. They are all proud of me. I usually have about 8-10 kids here every night so its never quiet around here, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Yes, my coach told me to have an extra protein packet throughout the day as well as increase my water and i think it is working, i dont weigh in until Thursday, but i weighed myself this morning and i am down 3 pounds since last Thursday, so hopefully this has given me the boost i needed.

My weigh in was today and i lost 2.6 pounds and another 4 inches..I was happy i lost 2.6, but also a little disappointed that the weight seems to be coming off slower than everyone else i read and talk to. I upped my protein packets to 4 a day and increased my water to 3 litres a day. I have lost 21 inches in 3 weeks. Does this make sense...To date , i have lost 9 pounds and 21 inches. I had really hoped to be losing more on this...maybe this diet doesnt work for everyone.

I just finished my 5th week and I have lost 14 lbs which is less than average but I am happy to be losing. I need to measure my veggies closer and probably drink more water. I know the plan works...

Do not compare yourself to other people because that can be such a downer. There are so many variables as to the amount of weight you lose. I follow IP to the letter and lose an average of 2.5 pounds a week.
I am happy because I cannot lose this consistenly on other diet programs.
Remeber that you are YOU! Do not give up - it will come off - one day at a time!

My 8th WI wasn't do good for some reason I had a gain .7lbs and lost an inch so I don't know what is going on. We will see this week I suppose. How did your weigh in go?

I totally agree with you on this....EVERYONE is different. Our bodies are all different and we all do different things during the day. NONE of our bodies burn off fat the same, we are all individuals. Reading these post should keep you motivated, as long as you are losing weight and inches no matter how small the amount is, it is weight coming off along with the inches...SOME lbs are better than NONE at all!!

Thank you all so much for the positive talk. At least with this diet i am losing weight every week, which has not happened when i did weight watchers. Something is better than nothing.

Is there a new alternative thread? I can't find one. I have a question about the CVS brand protein packets. Someone told me they were using them and I wondered if anyone else does. It says on the package do not use for weight loss. It seems very comparable to IP

I bet you have a big loss this week! Are you eating enough? Don't want your body to think you are starving.

Thanks for asking, my first weigh in I lost 8 pounds, my second weigh in is tomorrow. I am doing everything perfectly, but don't feel like there is going to be a big loss.

Use the search function and type in CVS. See if anything pops up.
